Surprised and delighted to have someone know about it and reply so quickly. That’s what I mean about character, older games felt utterly unique and memorable.

I’m still playing Dying Light at the minute, really enjoying it. But as I go along I constantly think to myself, isn’t this just Far Cry reskinned?

I’ve completed a fair few games recently, and only a tiny percentage stick out in my mind, enjoyed them all, but few have the soul of true originals.

I think I got old when I wasn’t looking.

I couldn't get past an hour either. Didn't bother starting Last Light.

Agree completely, i know a lot of it is nostalgia but i genuinely think older games had more feeling. One of the most atmospheric games i ever played was Darkseed, as a PnC it wasnt the greatest but the whole feeling in that game cant be bettered.

Yeh last light is very much more of the same.
I absolutly loved the setting and story but guess they arnt for everyone.

Alan wake is a cracking game too.

I got to a level that just pee'd me off and stopped playing as it wasn't fun, must have been about an hour or two in. I don't see why people rave about this game and it put me off buying Last Light too.

I’ve tried twice to get into it, and couldn’t. Going to try again some day but got a long list to work through.

I'm playing The Darkness 2. I got it for free a few weeks back and have only recently had the chance to play it. It's far far better than I thought it was going to be. Highly recommended.

Same, will be back for some more during Delve. I know it will get boring after few weeks but it's such a great game if you are into this type of games. Nothing comes close to PoE experience.

I've done the first couple of bosses in Hollow Knight now. Got a few upgrades. Loving every second.

The art design is excellent, as is the sound, and it builds a surprisingly effective atmosphere.

Funnily enough i played this again not too long ago, still amazing, but the cut scenes havent aged well unfortunately. Gutted that we'll probably never get a proper sequel now....thanks MS! >:(
