That's what I love about you Panos, your sense of humour. Shoot me from where you are and then I'll be impressed.
Lol. Yeah. It is just another marketing tactic. Sure it is a lot closer now, but until I see a game that is made using ray tracing, I am not too bothered. I however glad to see any new tech that brings us closer to that day.
Imagine Crysis being remade using Ray Tracing?![]()
I think Nvidia should get DX12 support sorted before getting concerned with ray traced games.
It is proper dog****. Was 18 months ago and still is.
DX12 and hardware async compute..... AMD has it there since 2013 for heaven sake. And on games that are using hardware async compute, the ancient 290X beats even the GTX1060 6GB for heaven sake.At 640x480?

The one that costs 3 grand. LolWhich one is the Titan V again?
Take a look at how NVIDIA decimates AMD in this new game as well!
Stop coming up with false theories based on one game!

Decimates? Those AMD figures are nowhere near 10x worse than the Nvidia ones.
The one that costs 3 grand. Lol
Lol. 3 grand for a graphics card.
What the PC badly needs from these new cards is a really strong/well supported £250-£300 card. A R9 290 for 2018.
The only thing you have shown is that the particular game clearly runs better with Nvidia hardware than AMD's, and the GTX970 being "decimated" by both the GTX1060 3GB and GTX1060 6GB when it shouldn't. Thanks for proving my pointTake a look at how NVIDIA decimates AMD in this new game as well!
