Geforce GTX1180/2080 Speculation thread

Well terrible sorry if correcting false information isn't to your liking.

HDMI is not a free and open standard.

But, you didn't correct anything. You were replying to Jigger's post, he said there was a free open standard available for the PC, which there is.

There is no fee to be paid for using adaptive sync on display port and there is no fee for using VRR on HDMI. You have to pay to pay a Royalty to use a HDMI port in your device, but, that's the same whether you use VRR or not. There is no extra fee to be paid for using VRR.

You didn't refute anything that Jigger said.

Seems unlikely. I have to wonder whether they put out silly prices like $1199 so that when it's revealed at $950 it seems like a bargain.

My bet is that the 2080 will be round £750-800 with the Ti at £950-1000 mainly because they can charge that much with amd lagging behind.

I'll still get one want to get rid of my 1080's sli and go single card

The 10 series extreme didn't cool the memory did it? put me right off after seeing that gamersnexus teardown lol

i think they like msi and cheaper models just used a Heat sink not attached to main sink . Gigabyte went and did a video on there's because of evga not actively cooling their VRMs- when videos of it catching fire etc .

worst card was asus turbo! mem chips were naked and small sink of the VRM
