Humans

Extinction is in our nature but since we live well beyond our means, unless there's a natural cull, humans fate is sealed. .

It is sealed regardless as you say. Mortality sees to that.

Have you read any Dostoyevsky by any chance? His writing and thoughts on nihilism are proven 100% correct, reading some (a lot) of posts in this thread.

No I haven't. Sadly it's common sense that's widely ignored..

Sobering words.... Right im going back to trying to work out if i should spend 800 quid or 1000 quid on my next PC upgrade! Laters peeps!

:D

Oh I should also add.... Polyester clothes are for cretins/morons.

All my clothes now I buy are 100% cotton, to try and combat the issue of synthetics polluting the environment. Also recently bought some Bjorn Borg underwear which was Hemp, absolutely fantastic, even better than synthetics!!

Been wearing bamboo socks and underwear for some time. Highly recommended

Badgers become an issue, lets cull the badgers, why are we not doing the same with the human race?
Everyone is crapping on about the environment and how we wont have the resource to feed people in a few decades time, yet nobody is suggesting we quickly kill off those that are on death row or others that are already lined up for death? Why are we not quickly pushing this as a solution, saves money, resources? How about Chinas idea of limiting children? NOBODY wants to look at ways to limit the growth of the population as a way to slow the issues we are having, yeah be green, yeah recycle, make less of an impact, but if we are reproducing at an increasing rate surely limiting that rate is a solution as well...

Ok i had to come back. Wont our Alien overloads that created us in the first place come and save us or press the reset button? This that Black and White game from years ago....

People be real.

Its a handful of "Asian" countries that are responsible for 80% of the global pollution.

Toilets like Bangladesh (shudder), Indonesia (boke), and China being the worst. I believe China is actually attempting things to help, but as for the other countries, they just treat all their waterways as sewers and rubbish dumps, and it spews it all into the sea.

Truly about as stupid as you can get really.

A country like Germany which is mainly landlocked, will be responsible for almost ZERO sea destined plastics, (although still some of course).

If we nuked China, imagine how many species would recover and how much less plastic there would be.

This, at this time I'm afraid is not an option, so the next best thing is to stop IGNORANTLY buying Chinese made TAT like some pathetic commercially programmed robot. I refuse to use things made in China, and it results in me returning a HELL of a lot of stuff, or, just not ordering it at all when I see that this was the country of manufacture.

In SOME ways China really does show us the future. They are planting vast forests to prevent desertification from the Gobi, and the limiting of children is something that MUST, and WILL happen at some point in the future, whether the liberal bleaters like it or not!
Dude its your twelfth post and you are talking about nuking an entire population.... Calm down a little and build up towards these kind of things....

Why should UK citizens sacrifice more when the rest of the world won't? It's not like the UK punishing itself even more is going to make any difference
Sweden, about 10 million, raises a new tax every month for environmental reasons.
Does my head in. It already has nearly zero rubbish to landfill, nearly complete green energy, it's impressive. Still they squeeze people's pockets.

"Exploding human consumption" has caused a massive drop in the global wildlife population in recent decades.
I wonder if exploding human population growth and the capitalist dependence on endless consumption has any part to play in this?

If people really cared about the planet, they would stop breeding, but we're all selfish in one way or another.

I find it hilarious when people go on about plastic and other enviromental issues but have children.

It'll be one of those children invents the way to deal with the waste, or the material that has no detrimental environmental impact to replace eg plastic/palm oil etc... Not breeding is a pretty dumb argument, you might as well just kill yourself now if you really believe that.
