Mid range card, at high end prices. If it's anywhere near £300 (before g-sync tax) then it loses to Vega56

Surely it won't be over £300 once the remaining 1060s have been shifted.

Oh what bet is there on a 3GB version for £220? Yes I think they're going to release that and it'll sell well but be a poor buy.
 
A lot of very funny replies and I agree totally.
With the 20xx series cards Nvidia has managed to achieve the same price/performance ratio as the outgoing 10xx cards.
The 10xx series massively beat the outgoing 9xx for a lot less money - the new gen has taken a step sideways and added some 'interesting' tech.
An absolute open goal for AMD with their 7nm navi chips, imo.
