Maybe he had a weapon?I dont understand why when they got the drivers car door open then backed off.
They could have pulled the keys out or even the driver.
Ran two people down so people said earlier in the thread.wtf?
Smash up someones car because they apparently stole booze? how about let the store deal with it and they can contact the appropriate authorities....

Ran them down before or after the mob started attacking them?
Unforgivable, it's nearly 2019 and people who do such things deserve to be locked up in jail until they file a written apology and understanding that videos should always be recorded horizontal.
Before. As far as I can gather they tried to steal booze and were confronted by security. I'm guessing they made a run for it and hit two people with their car upon trying to get away. Whether they hit they deliberately or just through reckless driving is unknown. That's when the crowd moved in to try and stop them and things turned into chaos.
Was that before the mob tried to stop them or at the end? If it was at then end then I can actually understand it a little bit; if a mob wee smashing my car up and trying to drag me out then I'd probably drive through them too. He may be able to argue that he was genuinely scared for his life and it was a justifiable action. I don't necessarily agree that his life was in danger but I can see that his legal defense may use that.
And if I was on the jury I'd judge him not guilty on the grounds of reasonable force. Even if he'd killed some of the people attacking him. Mobs are a definite and immediate threat to life - there is a hyperabundance of evidence of that throughout recorded history (and probably before it too).
Unbelievable.
Guy was committing a crime, deserves everthing he gets. Shame he wasnt beaten to a pulp then crushed by his own car.
To set the side airbags off?the guy smashing the trolley into the side of the car.....what on earth was he hoping to achieve?
To set the side airbags off?
The issue is the law isn't strong enough, get caught doing something wrong and you always get a slap on the wrist, if sentencing was stronger and the policing was more consistent then you might not see this mentality quite so much.Mob mentality is getting worse and worse every day. I don't see it being long before someone's accused of something and strung up by a braying crowd.
