Spoilered for those who are afraid of seeing things they can't unsee and are a little sensitive

TLDW - Dude comes into contact with some Sulfuric Hydroflouric acid vapour, he combusts then turns to ash

Or maybe Thanos got him ? I dunno hopefully chemists can verify if it's science or comic magic

That looks like he touched an overhead line and electrocuted himself. Even then, it shouldn't be enough to vaporise someone. You're looking at an arc flash in grid transformers for instant vaporisation.

LOL if it was powerful enough to dissolve him like that (probably just missing frames as he falls into the depressed bit at the top) his clothing would be gone instantly before the rest of him.

Pretty well made if it's fake though, almost too well made

I think they've literally just removed a couple of frames (probably a bit more than literally 2) or weren't captured at all as he fell into the bit at the top out of sight and it just happens to match up.

The vapour covers him. When he stands up he makes contact with the electrical cables just above him. The contact electrocutes him but also causes the vapor around him to combust.

He then falls into the dip at the top of the trailer.

except fluorosulfuric acid isn't flammable of course.

no but the by products of its reaction with air / water are i.e it produces a shed load of hydrogen gas when it reacts with Metals, hydrolyses or is reduced.

Reactivity Profile
FLUOROSULFONIC ACID is very strongly acidic [Merck]. Reacts exothermically with chemical bases (examples: amines, amides, and inorganic hydroxides). These reactions can generate dangerously large amounts of heat in small spaces. Reacts violently with water to generate hydrofluoric acid and sulfuric acid. Reacts with active metals, including such structural metals as aluminum and iron, to release hydrogen, a flammable gas. Can initiate the polymerization of certain alkenes. Reacts with cyanide compounds to release gaseous hydrogen cyanide. Generates flammable and/or toxic gases in contact with dithiocarbamates, isocyanates, mercaptans, nitrides, nitriles, sulfides, and strong reducing agents. Additional gas-generating reactions occur with sulfites, nitrites, thiosulfates (to give H2S and SO3), dithionites (SO2), and carbonates. May catalyze (increase the rate of) chemical reactions.

Yeah, exactly this. He doesn't disappear at all, the only way one would think that is after having been primed with the notion that he does disappear.
