Resident Evil 2 (REMake 2) PS4/XB1

Loving this, only played a bit so far but wow, it plays so smooth, is very atmospheric and great graphics.

The gameplay controls are also simple, something that a lot of games over complicate now days.
 
Hoping mine gets delivered today!!!

Edit: says delivered - this will be the longest wait to go home, ever! :D
 
£12 from game for the DLC upgrade pack (extra costumes and original soundtrack). Picking that up for sure.

I cannot wait to get back home and get stuck in.
 
I absolutely loved RE7, not quite sure how i've missed this, maybe because its a remake I've just glanced over it

Is this more of the same? I never played the original

It's not like RE7.

It's atmospheric like that one, but plays totally differently because it's third person.

Get it. You wont regret it.
 
Played a couple of hours, brilliant brings back so many memories. Cant believe i played this as a kid, wouldn't even let my nephews see a glimpse otherwise they would have nightmares.

Terrible. Not implemented properly: blacks are grey. Really dissapointed after RDR2’s joke hdr as well. Hopefully they’ll get it sorted ASAP. Have to play it non-hdr otherwise it’s grey where it should be black.
 
Soooo my copy arrived, super excited to pop it in for an evening of undead carnage, unfortunately for me I won't be allowed such pleasures as the case was completely empty, thanks Obama >:(

PS4 pro. The last of us remaster is a good reference for how hdr should be in the dark with a flashlight.

Playing this for a couple of hours now and i see where some of my favourite games got inspiration from. Games like TLOU, Outlast, Evil Within to name a few.

However I don’t find RE2 particularly scaring or disturbing. Outlast 2 just set my tolerance for scares to a whole new level. That game was horrific haha. Whistleblower DLC was awesome for Outlast too.

Nice to see where the origin to the horror games came from though.
 
Played a couple more hours last night in the dark with surround sound headphones! Super immersive and very unnerving. Normally only use headsets for for multiplayer games but glad I went with them for RE2
 
OMG such nostalgia. Also since when is making it through a door not a safe tactic lol. Near jumped out of my skin when a zombie followed me into a room.
