Has this been fixed? I'm considering buying for PC but Pro Evo in the PC subforum is fairly dead due to previous Konami abortions being served up.

Mate who plays the ai? Most people play against others and this is where the game shines!

Anyways the AI has been fixed so all is well but i play online only

Nah, I've sunk hours in to Master League in previous versions. I've played the odd game online but I'm still a single player mode kind of a bloke.

That could change of course.

this game has basically turned into a low cross spam fest. AI keeps trying it most of the time and its about the only guranteed way I can score.

Well here's a news years rant.

Getting the feeling there's some scripting going on here. Playing Roma in the cup, their keeper is rated at 69 mine is 82. I have countless point blank shots and one on ones and their keeper pulls off worldy after worldy. The attack once and boom my keep let's it come off his hands into the net. WTF.

then at the end they go clean through. I'm wanting the keeper to wait then sprint out at the last second just as he takes the last touch. But nooo he decides by himself to start coming out early and just gets chipped.

This sort of thing is happening all the time especially against the so called bigger clubs.

This happens in fifa too. play online for a better more random balanced game!

I've been having fun sticking at 3 stars on myclub this year. Every team you play is different, much more enjoyable than playing 4 or 5 star.

Yup. No problem finding games, loads of people stick at 3 stars as they feel it's more fun and more varied. Makes all those millions of scouts useful as well!

Giving this a go this weekend having not enjoyed a Pro Evo game for about a decade......and I'm quite enjoying it!

It really feels like you've earned a goal when you score - bit more of a feeling of accomplishment over FIFA!

My only issue so far is that I've conceded with literally every cross that has come into my box!?!?

Is there any way to defend against crosses at all??

try and position your defenders to block and intercept a cross or stop the winger crossing!

I've found some success timing the tackle to stop the cross itself but for the life of me I can't seem to defend anything that comes into the box!?!? :confused:

In one instance the ball must have gone through half of my team before a 4'6" giant scored with a header!

I'm not struggling with it and hardly concede Just get the ai wing back to press the crosser and then position your cb in the box

Been enjoying the lite version until but 5 star teams is just mental to fast and to much crazy **** going on, does anyone play normal mode online here? How well does it play online ?

i play the pes version of FUT and its great online with different skilled players you play against

Ive been playing myclub as well but I am finding 5 star teams is a crazy speed feast, ping pong plays more like FIFA and everymand and his dog has mohamed Salah, CR7..

Am I imagining things or is there actually no "quit game" option in the in-game menus???

I'm not talking about online quitting, I'm talking about playing against the CPU and your players are so useless that you want to gouge your own eyes out with a pudding spoon!

Surely a quit match option is a given???

Thank God for the free "lite" version of this game that's saved me from buying it - simple fact it that it's awful unless you have the best players in the game!

The control of lower end players is akin to them not having actually seen a football before - the word control simply isn't in their vocabulary! AI defending is a joke - your players get dragged towards the half way line and then simply can't recover when the opposition plays a through ball that you can see coming from a mile away - but can't do anything about!

And I thought FIFA was bad......

Do your players have low team spirit? as that can really mess them up, your denders might be doing that due to the mangers tactics, does he have high defence line, frontline pressure, agressive?

You can lower the defensive line using the D pad hold the arrow towards your goal. You can also select deep defensive line in advance instructions.

I have doing the same much more enjoyable and less pacey ping pong football. I have built my squad using socuts the only issue I have is that my player are leveling up so my team is now 4 star ....

I do enjoy the game but konami needs to get rid of the random moment, scripting ai... It starting to spoil the game for me.

Does anyone ever release an option file for the following season on PES?

If possible it would be nice to get an update with the 2019-2020 league/teams/kits etc but I can't imagine too many people can be bothered with the new one coming out?
