UEFA Champions League/Europa League 5/6/7/March *** Spoilers ***

His arm is away from his body, and it clearly strikes his arm. However, that's how you jump, so it's a bit harsh, but by the letter of the law it does seem to be a penalty.

I'd be upset if it was given against us though.

I don't think that was a pen? I what do some of you guys think?
His arms are not waving around really

It's stuck out and he doesn't even try to move it, mainly because his back was turned but never the less blatant handball for me it's not like he was 1m away and didn't have time to react.

You can just imagine what Jose would have been like tonight, would have written the whole game off before kick off and said all the players he had left available were ****

Yup, was it the first year he already wrote off the league because of their position to focus on europa. He likely would have done the same but he also wouldn't have any way to inspire the players to be confident they could win from such a position.

The more I see it the more I think it's a penalty.

The whole thing is, his arm didn't come out slightly when he spun around and turned his back (which by the way, never turn your back on the ball as a defender, it's stupid). He extends his arm first and deliberately then turns and jumps. The arm extension is entirely his own choice to make himself bigger. The spin/turn actually brings it slightly closer in but if he hadn't extended his arm in the first place it's not out that far.

Thank god he took off bailly, that was an obvious choice but still a good decision by sols.

Don’t think I’ve jumped up and screamed in over 10 years watching a united game.

Have to agree with this but given how their first goal in the 1st leg was scored by someone who should have gotten a 2nd yellow before that (and shouldn't have played tonight either) + seeing Di Maria at the end

PSG absolutely deserved that

Exactly how I worded it too .
Its in the law book but impossible to not jump like that

Karma for the first leg tbh :)

What was weird is that it came out of the blue. Barely anyone called for it aside from Dalot. Game carried on like normal then like a min later refs checking it. Would it be the lines man or refs in the booth calling for it to be checked?

For me he looked at the direction of the ball then turned his body to make it look accidental. Pen.

Who's that Chong dude though, looked awful.
