Polish town burns Judas effigy resembling Orthodox Jew

What an odd tradition to bring back in these more "enlightened" times and I can't see a way it can be justified which doesn't involve angering a large section of the Jewish population.

For every action there is a reaction.

Bringing back a tradition like this is probabally a direct consequence of SJW types banging on about how the Poles collaborated with the Germans during WW2 and large sections of the Polish people are now getting ****** off with it and using this as a way of expressing their annoyance.

The way things are going in the UK (and elsewhere), I dare say people will start burning effigies of trannies/whatever in the near future for the same reason!

Pick one or more of the following dates...!

What a load of nonsense (Really, I didn't know things were really that bad until I just looked it up! )

It is a bit like the "Grenfell Tower" bonfire thing I think I know why the people did that.
It wasn't because they hated "Brown People" as such. It was because they hated the idea that had this fire, with the same degree of casualties, happened in a private apartment block full of middle class White people, there would have been no where near as much media coverage and political grandstanding! Thats what they were ****** off about.

Ok, first of all.

No and no.

I heard literally nothing about dur sjws complaining about polish ‘collaboration’ during ww2 until their own government started cracking down on the mention of it. Maybe there was a polish movement for it, but that’s as far as it went as far as I’m concerned.

In my eyes it’s just another case of nationalist dogma creating their own outrage so they can justify their anti media, pro corruption stance.

The second point about Grenfell? Just no.

The Polish government wouldn't have been wanting to crack down on it unless it had somehow become a problem. Just because the issue wasn't reported in Our media doesn't mean it wasn't there.

Now, I happen to think that the Polish Government made collective asses of themselves over this issue. But then I also find the idea that across much of Europe, you can (And some actually do) go to Prison for questioning the official state sanctioned version of history (Holocaust denial) somewhat Orwellian and deeply disturbing too.

EU pressure to make this an offense in the UK (Along with the idea I read about some years ago that proposed that a new EU-Wide offense of "Xenophobia" should also include any opposition to EU membership ) is one of the reasons why I am a Brexiter! I do not want to be associated with superstate that wants to control history and actually criminalize anybody who is opposed to it!

As for Grenfell. Obviously I cant really speak for the specific people who did this and posted it.

But I could certainly see myself doing something like this under the right set of circumstances.

And I can say that my reasons would not be to make light of the people who died, but rather to annoy all the people in Politics and the media who were making such divisive capital out of it.

If anybody is to blame for the Grenfell disaster, It is the bloody Green lobby!

The building was just fine, and perfectly safe, until it was decided that it was necessary to clad it with insulation and install gas in order to reduce its CO2zzz :(

I don't believe it's burning "Judas" which is the problem, but the use of the extremely stereotypical "Jewish doll" which is the cause, as its associated with all Jewish people rather than a generic effigy being used instead.

The pics show this more clearly than my words do I think.

would people complain if you burnt an effigy of hitler?

Actually probably yes. Someone would argue that it is giving him fame. Someone else would punch someone and it would get into the papers thus ironically giving him fame even if second hand. ;)
