AMD Zen 2 (Ryzen 3000) - *** NO COMPETITOR HINTING ***

Computex is X570 reveal, might be some details on Ryzen 3000.
Jesus, that would suck badly. We need something tangible about Ryzen 3000 at Computex. We saw an 8c/16t Ryzen 3000 chip match an i9-9900K in Cinebench at CES, we need at least to know gaming and/or single threaded performance this time around.

Intel 5Ghz all core 9900KS *yawn*
An overclocked i9-9900K then, probably for $599 with a 125 W TDP (or they'll just continue to inexplicably label everything as 95 W TDP regardless).

Ryzen 3000 reveal is Jun 10.
Ryzen 3000 pre order release July 1
Ryzen 3000 Review Embargo July 7
Ryzen 3000 16 core confirmed.

Pre orders before reviews is poor form. So I'd take it with a pinch of salt.

It's interesting that people have been hyping tomorrow's event as some news, and as soon as the event is nigh its not :p

As much as I loathe waiting till July, I'd hope by then that there is Navi and Ryzen 3XXX available to buy.

Jesus that would suck badly.

Yeah i sort of feared this, AMD are still useless at marketing, instead of using every possible opportunity for shouting off the roof tops, they keep you waiting, saying absolutely nothing and then telling you most of what you want to know, almost begrudgingly, just on one occasion right before launch.

So instead of being in the news all the time building a midshare profile, they hide, only come out when absolutely necessary.

At least now we know we can buy them, if we want them in 6 weeks, 5 if you just can't wait and are willing to buy blind, which no one should.

Agreed. Sadly, it's the norm these days.

I really don't think it is.

There's only really one big launch it happened with and that was the R9 290X.
Threadripper doesn't *count* as such because it was a bit different (Given it was basically just a souped up 16 Core Ryzen)

Unless there's been some Intel releases too?

Vega 64 as well as reviews/buy on the same day, no pre order there.

I was under the impression that people pre-order GPUs especially all the time?

Come on, no one is forced to pre-order but it gives you an option if you think stock will be low and prices gouged.
You can return a CPU for about £8 fully insured so think of it as a cheap insurance policy against the above.
Choose the cheapest delivery option and you may be able to cancel before they ship after reading 1st day reviews. :p

There's no defense at all for pre order before reviews when it comes to buying PC hardware.
No one should make light of it, regardless of the camp that you're in.

I'll preorder if there is an option to. I'm on a 3820 so anything will be better. I'll only feel unlucky if there is a major recall!
