restart complet, full shut down and turned back on

on the desktop inabout 7 seconds

still in this game boost mode tho so going to try it without a few settings on

Well, this is really looking promising now.

Download Core temp - would like to know your temps as we slapped the CPU back on without reapplying TIM. I'm sure it will be OK - but will be happier if you had that installed so you could monitor temps; now and for when you first stress the CPU.
 
hmm ok this is interesting then.... when its not on game mode it struggles to star up and keeps restarting pretty much opened the desktop screen and it went off, sounds like its struggling for power

that red cpu light is always on aswell when booting up but goes off

Can't make my mind up if you're describing a normal start up - as the system does a self evaluation/check - stalls then starts.

I wonder if gaming mode is similar to fast start up.

If it persists, try disabling XMP and test.

E.g. - one of my systems when i press start, it spins up the fans for few seconds and then shuts down. Then it powers up and boots normally. Perfectly normal - although it does have a significant clock.
 
Graphics driver update might help with some of those symptoms.

I wonder if Game Boost (which can increase the Vcore quite dramatically I've heard) is masking a CPU power delivery problem, by forcing more power to it than it should need right now. Installing HWiNFO64 and monitoring voltages there might provide a clue. This is assuming that RAM is fine, motherboard is fine, and motherboard is accurately reporting some kind of CPU problem.

Could be the case as fits the symptoms he's describing - to date.
