Yeah except all the reviews compare both CPUs at stock in games and we already know that Zen 2 has 0 benefits when overclocked. The difference will be higher when 9900K is overclocked.

So you don't think day1 immature bios can't have any impact on these chips? And what were seeing today is defacto final performance we will see for their entire lifetime?

Has anyone found reviews specifically checking the audio levels of the darn X570 chipset fans?

I'm really worried about audio levels, and reliability on that darn thing.
Got the silly priced Gigabyte Extreme in my chart mostly because it's Passively cooled which guarantees more reliability

The 9900k, for gaming it's the no-brainer.

Not at all. In a year it probably falls behind. As soon as PS5 / XBN are out, it's likely curtains. It will be like how Intel fared vs Ryzen 1, but worse.

Plus you can expect more security related performance downgrades.

Plus, most of the reviews you're seeing do not have results for the Intel chips on patched W10 / firmware ...

Plus, you'll actually be able to upgrade to Ryzen 4.

What else is there to go on?

You can speculate about BIOS improvements but at this point in time there's nothing to indicate much, if any, OC room on these chips.

just pulled the plug on a 3700x .. wifes getting the old 1700 and new board mem .. evens it up :)
the tiachi x370 can handle it and my mem does 3466 now .. should be able to go 3600+ ..
all in all cheap upgrade :)

I don't know but I hope it does .
At the moment what I'm seeing is that Zen 2 is very good but very much overhyped.
