What PC games are you playing?

Playing through A Plague Tale: Innocence at the moment. Wasn't expecting much from it but I'm really into it!

Thanks to PewDiePies recent series, I am back in Minecraft
Also been trying to finish the Borderlands 2 DLC's I never quite completed.

It's so weird to see him play Minecraft when he's always been so against it. He's getting more views than he ever has now he's actually started gaming again. Probably a lot of those 98 million stopped watching when he turned into a youtuber drama channel. I think I'm getting too old for his content though as I can't stand more than a few mins of his minecraft vids. Does look like a fun game though. One of the reasons I like 7 days to die so much is the voxel building element.

Funny you say that, I tried watching his videos a good few years ago and couldn't get in to them. Too silly. But maybe i have immatured in recent years as I am enjoying them now.. the gaming ones at least. :p Though I find Minecraft a game where watching a series helps as it shows you how to start off and what you can do. I got a baby cow tonight in my game

Any here buy the Ryzen 5 3600?

OK how happy are you with it?

I have some cash coming in soon, so just triple checking before buying..

I've got it.
No complaints here but its my first CPU in 10 years and Ive no idea if its the weak link in my system (I dont think so).
Just make sure that you arnt going to run into any BIOS issues. Check your MOBO before you buy.

I've been spending a fair amount of my free time on American Truck Simulator with the new DLC adding more routes to explore.
Returned to playing PUBG a little bit as well, enjoying looking around the revamped Erangel map.

Currently playing Bad North and I keep looking at XCOM: Enemy Unknown (2012 version). I have played it on and off over the years but never really got very far before being distracted by something else or the mrs nagging me to do this, that and the other.

I have not had a gaming PC in about 10 years, changed that last weekend so now playing Resident Evil 2 and Shadow of War, haven't even had my PS4 for about 3 years so missed out on a lot of games and time to catch up with cheap PC gaming!

Finally got around to installing Shadows: Awakening, which I bought because I saw a few good reviews.

I quite like a number of elements of this game. For the most part it's a decent enough ARPG, with a central gimmick that gives it a bit of a different feel and allows for an interesting approach to strategising some of the combat.

It's a bit of a one-trick pony, though, and I'm not halfway through yet and the novelty of this character swap mechanic is wearing a bit thin - primarily because the game decides to force you to keep swapping in the most pointless and contrived ways at annoyingly frequent intervals. It's like the designer was worried you'd forget this cool central feature that make this game so different from other ARPGs was there.

Actually, I think I'm about done with it, sadly, because despite the positives I can't shake the feeling that the designer's primary motivation for much of the game design is simply to slow down and aggravate the player. I don't think I've ever had the experience with a game where I thought with such conviction that only reaosnable explanation for many of the levels and puzzles being set up as they are is to cause me maximum annoyance. There is no thought whatsoever to player quality of life features - in fact, it seems like the opposite.

A shame as there was some potential here, but I can't believe this game actually went through any quality assurance at all.

I forgot how addictive Divinity OS2 is... Started playing at around 8 last night, suddenly realised it was 1am.

I love it. It is reinforcing my view that it's one of the best games ever made. Not played Definitive Edition yet, so looking forward to getting in to it again.

I'm currently playing through Kingdoms of Amalur: The Reckoning, had it on my list for years and just never got around to it. I'm really enjoying it so far, wish I'd given it more of a chance when it came out.

I'm also gearing up to waste more of my life in WoW with Classic when it launches in a couple of weeks, not sure how far I'll get as I've always preferred end game over the awfully slow leveling (more so with vanilla) but I'll give it a shot.

I'm playing Destiny 2 and BF V, love the environments but some problems with graphics at the moment. Really will be on Minecraft like bees to a honey pot when that ray tracing mod comes out.

I'm progressing through Act 2 just now, and I'm starting to find it's a bit aimless so I'm going to have to Google what to do next. I've thoroughly enjoyed it so far, but that would be my only real criticism; the lack of direction at times.

I've been absolutely gunning Frostpunk the last few weeks, got it cheap in the GMG sale with a load of other stuff thrown in, absolute bargain considering the time I've already spent playing, something very addictive about it.

It's undeniably aimless at times, but the changes to the journal in the DE have helped a bit. You do still have to do a fair bit of wandering about. Always something to find though.

it really is a great game spoiled by quite a lot of backtracking at the middle part of the game.
