Police dealing with incident on London Bridge amid reports of shots fired

Why are you still going on and on about this?

I'm not, you are. You brought it up and you're the one repeatedly quoting me. I simply made a post with a comment relevant to the thread, you replied to it and I offered clarification. You then ignored the clarification and inserted a word then claimed that was my argument, it wasn't and I pointed out that same clarification I'd already given... and now you're just carrying on still - why? What exactly are you hoping to achieve here?

I didn't ask you to repeatedly quote me over this nonsense, I'm simply replying to you doing this as you're making claims that I refute.

Yes we all know he served 8 years. You made a mistake. I corrected you but now you keep posting over and over and over. I said three posts ago, lets drop

You didn't correct anything and despite saying you were going to drop the attempt at pedantry that you initiated all by yourself I'm still getting notifications from you about the same thing???

I do love the way incidents like this bring out Twitter spats between MPs.... :)

Didnt the Conservatives get rid of IPPs in 2012?

Because you keep quoting me and claiming I am wrong?????? Just accept the correction and move on....

There wasn't a correction to be made, again you're the one who brought it up, I replied and offered clarification re: what I was referring to. It is my post/my POV - I'm the one who knows what I was referring to if you thought there was some ambiguity FFS! Instead of acknowledging that you then changed the statement you claimed I'd made to included a reference to sentencing (so you needed to be dishonest too in order to carry on your pointless pedantic argument) and still you keep on quoting me... Why?

So lets move on. What is the point you are trying to make? (without the use of the words "comrade" or "Corybn" would be handy please)

it's as hilarious as it is tragic to watch the usual gaggle on here flapping about trying to avoid the obvious conclusion that Corbyn is a Marxist/ socialist terroist sympathiser and the only reason he likely hasn't yet made a statement along the lines of the fake one that circulated is because his 'team' will have told him how badly it would affect labours electoral chances at such a crucial moment.

Its perfectly legitimate to talk about 'comrade' Corbyn. The man himself used this very term to refer to his like minded counterparts in this speech in September of this year.

The brave heroes that risked their lives to protect others, one of which I might add is polish (the dude with the whale spear!) for all you resident anti-immigrant knuckle draggers.

Corbyn didn't need to be mentioned in this particular thread at all, but some people just can't help it. I don't even like him but can see what a joke it is.

Is he also the one that has been previously convicted of murder and was also attending some correctional course / conference?

No, that's James Ford you're thinking of.

The Polish guy (Lukasz, don't think his surname has been published?) was a chef working the event and got stabbed in the process of trying to subdue the guy with a narwhal tusk, afaik.

Ah thanks, regardless of whether they had spent convictions or foreign origins they deserve some sort of commendation for going above and beyond the duty of members of the public.

He was born in Stoke-on-Trent, maybe get your facts right

*edit* beaten like a ginger step child

That said for a lot of these anti immigration racists it doesn't matter he was British, skin colour aint right innit

Just because he was technically english doesn't mean he was brought up with values any different from his family's origins.

As for immigration it's all about the right immigration and not simply having a set of open doors and allowing anyone to flow in. We should be more discerning over the worth of our country and who we let in to share it with.

So everyone in a Country has the same values
lawl

I clearly didn't say that, I eluded to fact of someone being born here doesn't guarantee that they've been brought up with english values rather than the values of their parents or those they associate with.
