Okay. Then you are also lying to yourself if you really think there is no room for doubt with those clips.... Anyway if you're right and it's obvious blatant monkey gesturing... Then he will be convicted for it.
There is a man jumping once with his hands moving less than 4 inches up and down once (and about 2-3 inches side to side) and making an O shape with his mouth whilst his face is looking about 6ft to the right of "Fred" - that is what is actually on camera.
You are assigning one potential reason for it, others are assigning another, therefore there is a doubt as to his actions and under law if the act is in doubt it will be very difficult to "prove" his guilt.
Just because you see 100% guaranteed racism doesn't make it an actual fact until he's actually convicted, which I don't think happen due to the ambiguity of his actions.
Those Italian papers on the other hand, just wow, I've no idea what they were thinking!!!!

My immediate thought is that we are all monkeys, or at least primates. Maybe that is his point. It's kinda interesting really, does it also point towards seeing racism where there is none?
Ofc I can also see that many folk would see it as insensitive, but again maybe that is part of the point that we're all primates, so saying someone is a monkey is the same as saying you yourself are also a monkey. Hypocritical racism?

As for the weird colours, maybe that has to do with football strip colours? Do they correspond to Italian strips? The light blue and white does I think at least?
Could be a jab at why is it okay to support colours in the first place... Hypocritical support of colours... Primates of different skin colours wearing the same colour, while different colours are hated yet worn by monkeys of different skin colour.

Certainly possible its always been there but now we are more focused on identifying it. However politics and Brexit has encouraged it somewhat.

No, I'm surprised to see you white knighting (or black knighting, whatever you prefer) what you 100% percieve as absolute racism, then jumping on another stereotype.... as if that's okay, but really it doesnt make sense if you think about it.
If you really want to battle our wits, I think you not being able to see the merit in using monkeys in art to help stop racism... instead jumping right into "thats racist" mode, tells all.
