AMD Radeon 5600 and 5600 XT speculation

would be good if we can get the Boost clocks up to a 5700 or even exceed it's just the memory bandwidth....still with a BIOS mod and a memory overclock if we can get 90-95% the performance of a stock 5700 for around £240 would be pretty nice!

You can get reference RX5700 cards for under £300 if you look around, and aftermarket ones have been on offer for nearly £300 too.

So not sure how a card which will be starting at £255,is going to look good compared to the RX5700 unless it is good aftermarket modes for the $279.

Nice. 5700 perf for well under £300. 2060 a hard sell now.

I can today buy a 5700 AIB for $299. Merely $20 more than the base 5600 price. MSRP aside.... that is bad value compared to it's current own products. I literally get what 25% more perf, plus 2GB extra memory for $20 dollars.

You can get the RX 5700 for £255 on eBay with the code offer (expires 9th)

They'd look less stupid if just priced appropriately though.

isnt this amd and gpus its standard practice for them. over price them then wonder why they struggle to sell. atleast the 570 and 580s are priced great now. takes a while though. at current price they just too dear. may aswell just get a 5700xt.

TBH you've been able to pick them up around that price for a couple of months already.

I paid £299 for my 2060 back in summer, and you could find dual fan Zotac 2060's now for £285 for the past few months (these seem to be down to ~£273 now).

Yes NVIDIA made the move this week, new MSRP is £273 in UK. :)

Our Palit card is under MSRP. :)

At least the card served one purpose, reducing competitor prices.

Pretty sure that may have been the idea in the first place. Given the fact you can get RX 5700's for £255 and AIB RX 5700 XT's for £312, it wasn't really going to do anything at £249, when the real price is going to be £229 or less.
