It may be quite the opposite with the Chinese wanting to offload shedloads of manufactured goods on a western market that does not have the buying power it once did.
This could cause deflation which is not a good thing either.
Having said that we are all armchair experts but the bottom line is no one knows where things are going to be in 12 months time.

She said realistically 12-18 months till we are out of this. Says there is no way out other than vaccine and thats how long it will take sadly.
We may see a bit of a role reversal in decades to come with manufacturing moving this way for cheap labour? One thing is for certain nothing ever stays the same forever and standards of living are way higher than when I was a child in the 70's. Most of that was driven by debt. I think we've peaked for now but I'd like to be wrong!
