I think the controller looks nice, touch pad still a waste of time and would prefer a proper d-pad but the colour is great but then I much prefer white consoles.

Ooooh that's a point, a white pad is an indicative of a white console as the default.

I don't mind it, my PS4 is white too.

I guess they base it on usage stats, but who needs the lights and the touchpad?

I use the touchpad a lot.
Even just having it as one big button, is handy in a lot of games I play.
Plus the light can be useful. I do a quick look down and see how close to death I am in Resident Evil 3 depending on whether I see Green, Orange or Red
Taking the lights and pad away would be a step backwards I feel.

I like the look of the pad but I'm worried about the size of the controller.

The DS4 is perfect for my hands as I find the Xbox controller a little bit uncomfortable.

I'm also glad they kept the touch pad. I have gotten used to it for pulling up maps lol.

Just whish more games used it better. If I remember correctly MGS5 it's had good use for menus.

Functionality changes aside color-scheme looks nasty .

I'd really prefer to buy the black versions for both the console and controller now.

I suppose Sony tried to do something radical like Xbox accessories, which always looked cooler IMO.

God no... at least a black console blends in when sitting in an AVR cabinet next to all of the other black or silver stuff. This white console is going to stick out like a sore thumb.

Hopefully they will also make a black version to cater to both tastes.

I have fairly large hands and don't have an issue with it so I'd say your comfort issues isn't due to the size of the controller.

I don't think they have have a button solely for BC. It would be better to remap the controls. I would also imagine that since it's there new games will make some use of it

I probably wouldn't buy any console to be honest. I'm not a console gamer. I like gaming on a PC as it's universal. I come in here to see if there was any more news about the consoles. same with the other XBOX thread.

What do you mean by PC gaming is universal? I'm not looking for an argument just confused.

I can't do office stuff on a PS4/PS5/XBOX. This is what I meant. It's universal for different functions.

We all have them oof moments. It's all good though. Consoles are consoles though - gaming only, which is good. I'm more of a platform gamer though and a big fan of westwood/cncnet games.
