As the title says, when are these going to hit UK shelves? Ideally would like a 4600H 5600m combo.
Yeah it looks perfect I did see it but it seems as though it's only available in America as you said with no sign of a UK release.Have you seen the newly announced Dell G15 SE? It has the Ryzen 7 4800H and the 5600M. Pricing in America looks good but can't find any news about UK release dates yet. Could be worth a look.
Great thank you. They are on sale now on the dell web site
Ordered the 4800H/5600M Dell G15.
Didn't know about that, Definitely ordering one too now since was considering it anyway and with that it is a good price. It is a bit less than that with the 8% code that is floating around, just over a grand.
I got it for £1034 using a student 10% off coupon.Just under £1.2k on the Dell website, pricing doesn't seem amazing. Or is there a better deal to be had?
Its getting close to Zephyrus G14 prices and that looks a better overall package.

I wasn't even aware you could the U versions yet. That's cool.Thats not too bad to be fair.
I've got a 4800U based Ideapad coming this week or early next week. AMDs new mobile offerings are amazing.

Yeah battery life should be awesome and you should be able to increase TDP if you wanted.I think Lenovo are the first to ship them. The 4800U is crazy, 15W but 8c16t.

I used a TDP profile on a 3500u laptop which worked great up to about 25w then it would start to get lag spikes with the heat. Cooling pad sorted that out then it was good for 35w.Yeah the Lenovo comes with a 70Wh battery which should be good for 10hrs plus and configurable TDP profiles although the cooling isn't great for the high TDP profile.
Yeah and with 10% discount the 4800 model comes down to almost the 4600 starting price. Even without that, the difference in price between the two models is so close that for me it was worth it to squeeze out a bit more and go for the 4800.Just placed an order for the G15 SE myself. £1034 too with 10% off. Can't see anything close to other for all round performance / efficiency for that price.
