Samsung Ecobubble noise

They certainly don't make washing machines like they used to. I was never a fan of Samsung washing machines, but knew of some people that stood by them - but even these people are realising how low Samsung's quality has plummeted recently. 
I am expecting a Bosch engineer next week, to see if they will replace the sealed drum on my ~1 year old machine. I was aware before I even bought my Bosch that it would be a sealed drum, but I expected more than a year from the bearings.

Mine did it again on Wednesday evening so I called them on Thursday. I got through to Samsung straight away and they told me their agent would contact me to make a booking. Of course I thought here goes but to be fair to Samsung I got a text from Trio Domestic Appliances a few hours later saying they had made a provisional booking for me for this Monday, 10th. Unfortunately the first chance I can be at home for this is Thursday 20th so they rescheduled the appointment. I'd have been happy to see someone on Monday but at least I should have an idea what it is once you've had you appointment.
My engineer just came around. Not particularly friendly or helpful, no smile, came in like he was doing me a massive favour. Hate people like that.
As it happens though, the problem was a small microfibre cloth stuck in the pump! So I guesstechnically not a warranty issue. Nevertheless he said it's the most common callout thing.
So pull the flap open at the front and see if you can find anything blocking the hole.
I think the lesson is, don't put any items in the machine that are too small.

Good news there then. When you say the flap at the front, do you mean the bottom right flap with the drain pipe and filter behind it? If so mine is clear.
Yep, that flap. As soon as the engineer heard the noise when I played him my video, he said it's the pump. So I'm thinking, if the noise you're getting is exactly like mine, then maybe there's something lodged deeper or you might have a different pump issue.

The noise has returned on mine today. I've opened the flap and screw cap and drained a load of water. There's nothing there to see. But there's a couple of holes where I've marked arrows which I think lead to the pump. I'd better unplug the machine before sticking my fingers in. Maybe there's a coin or something blocking but I'm sure I'd emptied all pockets beforehand.

Anything small should go in a laundry bag, I hate colour catchers with a passion!
I've got a second engineer currently here and he's replacing the ecobubble pump. Hopefully this will fix it, and it's not a piece of stuck clothing or material anywhere which the first engineer thought was the issue. Look at my poor Sammy.
EDIT: He doesn't have the correct pump is his van so he's ordering it and also will replace the rest of the assembly and will return to replace it in about a week or two.

hope he is supporting that 70kg? stably, and not propped against work surface.
How did the first piece of cloth get into the pump ? between the drum&door - can't see one of those (sorry gimmicky) trap doors,
presumably it didn't interfere with other pump he is now investigating -
two pumps though ? I thought there was usually some kind of bellows to re-circulate water into drum top.

Well my worktop has survived so it's ok.
Yeah that's a good point you make about how the cloth had gotten into the pump. I mentioned to the engineer that just once a few weeks ago I had a pool of water around the washing machine. It's not happened since fortunately. He said that can happen if the door isn't completely sealed when closed. Which based on what you said makes me wonder if it had got trapped between the door and drum but I don't know if that's when I had the leak. Anyway, yeah, he said there's two pumps, one for the ecobubble part of it at the front, and one at the back to drain out water.
