It's about having blacks at all. I'm sitting here on an IPS and all IPS has horrible, horrible, IPS glow. There are no blacks with IPS.

OLED is the best of a bad bunch of current techs. We should have progressed beyond LCD years ago, but we've stalled something rotten.

Blacks are actually quite good on my Dell UW IPS - but I think I lucked out a bit there - very minimal IPS glow, pretty much no backlight bleed - with an all black image on screen and the room pitch black you can barely see it is on.

I'm also on a Dell IPS and I wish I could say the same :p U2312HM in my case.
 
Its taken AMD 2 years to muster up a GPU which can match the 2080ti which was released in 2018?


I hope they release a GPU which matches the 3080ti or 3090 or whatever dumb name NVIDIA want to come up with.

We ended up spending more money on a Quaife differential than we would have spent on the exhaust. (It wasn't about having the funds or not.)

The 2080Ti would have allowed me to turn up a few settings on my sims...it would have been the Borla conversation all over again.

I applaud your effort for your reminder of what responsibility is. However, some will continue to say, "I can afford it." They will not get the gist of it. Sad
