I hope they read the fine print. I recall a few post on reddit with crashing in games, ctd, doesn't start, etc with the 5700xt using a 450watt, riser cards, using a splitter power cable from a low power psu, etc. And they couldn't for the life of them figure out the problem.:confused:. Albeit, not all b/s were user error.
Remember this video: https://youtu.be/yFYPUaUy0eI
430Watt, multi-plug extension cords crisscrossing across the room, riser card with video card causally laying on top, splitter power cable to video card, etc (the comments are still golden)
Ampere, it's your turn!!! :D

lol just watched that video and read the comments :D

Once Nvidia show their hand AMD have no reason to remain silent, that would be the time for AMD to start at least talking about details of what they have, if they remain silent after Nvidia put their cards (no pun intended) on the table, that's when i'll worry...

RTG really tight lipped on their RDNA 2 cards this go. Not sure how to take it.

Bad sign IMO. If they had something tangible, they'd be launching their own online marketing campaigns.

Perhaps they have very little wafer's left over for PC GPU's, after fulfilling contractual obligations for the consoles? Who knows.

if the AMD GPUs share tech with the consoles, and they are under NDA until the consoles launch could that explain some of the radio silence? I'm assuming the consoles launch reasonably soon to make the Christmas retail cycles?

I seem to recall not hearing anything about the Jaguar cores in the 360 until post-launch either.

Read the comments to see the problem that AMD are facing against Nvidia to gain sales. Funny how pretty much all the AMD users come across as pretty sensible in comparison to the Nvidiots in there who have no clue what they are talking about. There are a few sensible nvidia users in there who point out the problems but in the main it's the old AMD drivers have been rubbish for over 15 years and AMD is cheap garbage :D:D:D:D:D
The moment you use any word like 'Nvidiots', people automatically know you are an irrational fanboy. Just saying.

Had my 5700XT Powercolor Devil since launch and never once had any driver issues, had a blackscreen issue but that was remedied with a DDU clean and reinstall as i had installed over the top.

Had a Vega 64, zero driver issues

Had a 290, zero driver issues.

6950 and 7850/7870 zero driver issues....

Not sure where people get this rubbish that AMD have constant driver issues from.. Its utter drivel, although i do believe some people out in the world do have issues but thats the vocal minority, definitely not a majority and im pretty sure the same can be said for any hardware manufacturer

Its good so they dont need to.

I'm assuming its a good sign. I'd rather this than a transparent tissue of lies or half truths. No 'poor Ampere' or 'overclockers dream' nonsense is to be preferred. If RDNA2 is amazing then great, if not then OK at least AMD haven't directly added to the disappointment by building false/great expectations. Not sure I know what the dickens I'm talking about tbh.

Raja got fired alongside the marketing team helps with the leaks.
Look at him hyping Intels xe atm without any beef.

Said it many a time. Blinkers out. Cant convince people that dont want to listen. Not perfect but pretending nvidia have zero issues is a fantasy.

I sold my 1080ti for a new 5700xt and made a profit about 6 months ago, I bought it so I could use vsync on my new Samsung TV and have never had any driver issues and the picture quality seems better to me than my 1080ti, only problem I have had is I can't get Microsoft flight simulator to work but I can hardly blame AMD for that.

Its good so they dont need to.

Yes Raja is certainly very good at over promising and under delivering! Intel will soon deliver an Nvidia and an AMD killer
under his guidance......possibly;):D

He is I think a good part of the reason I've come to dislike AMD over the years - few things turn me off a company faster than when they talk up a product they can't deliver on especially when that involves smack talking the competition when it turns out they have nothing (especially when that involves misleading customers and their spending).

Me too although Robert Hallock with his ludicrous and deeply dishonest PBO graph for Ryzen CPUs is cut from the same cloth. I can't stand that sort of 'marketing' which is designed to deliberately deceive your consumers, leaves a nasty taste in the mouth and undermines all future claims/promises.

If that is how you feel about those PBO graphs then you must really hate/dislike intel with their mountain of slides being extremely dishonest and outright misleading. Remember that whole GTX 1080 vs RTX 2080 thing? :P

Intel with all that tedious underhand nonsense testing the 9900K against the 3800X or whichever AMD CPU is was and 'Principalled technology' or whoever their spun off sham 'independent' research company were is a good example of how Intel are as shifty as they come. I don't like it when any company takes me for a fool and plays fast and loose with the truth and Intel have done it many times. Two wrongs don't make a right.
