Makes sense. The PC is potentially targeting a different demographic.

As long as the PS5 exclusives are not on XSX, then people who enjoy console gaming are still going to be drawn to the PS5, assuming they are interested in those "exclusives". Being on PC won't cost them sales from people who were never interested in a console.
I know it's causing people to consider buying a PS5. And I think the main reason is that they know the potential for these PS5 games to come out on Steam.

------------------------------------------

On MS Store with Gears 5 they created a virtual drives called Xvd.

And if you delete it or if it's not "working" the way it was intended or simply is updated a few times you will get a multiple Xvd's

And between MS Store and Steam, steam provided higher frame rates for me. But with MS Store these extra apps are installed just for Gears 5.

Look at all these extra apps running in task manager! With steam this isn't in device manager when it comes to MS Store Games like Gears 5. And I hear it's only going to get worst with next gen game ports as MS wants a virtual box just for games.

No its much worse.

Try to find RTX reflections that are as low quality as ratchet and clank, you can't

Its an APU for crying out loud! Its not going to be better than a full flagship GPU. The main thing here is does it do a good enough job for that game and the answer is yes! Its only PC nerds that would pick it apart and compare to the next best thing most consoles players probably dont even know what Ray tracing is!

Can't remember the name, but who was the other poster that always wanted to tell the world how crap consoles were, and how he wouldn't be seen dead playing with one? He seems to have stopped posting now. Literally every post was a console bashing frenzy :p

Cue the release of the next gen cards, people taking pics of reflections and zooming in 500% for comparisons.

considering it's featured heavily in both nextgen consoles marketing they probably have some idea

Trust me they dont! why because they simple do not care. All they want to do it switch it on and play! PC players we guys are different from the moment we switch on a game we go into the settings! a new PC player reads up about settings and gets more involved in what PC graphics are and what they do. A console player again just load up the game and play.

Sure they will be some console players that will show some interest in what is what but if I was a betting man I would say easy 90% console players couldn't give a dam about ray tracing.

Not really though, Ratchet and Clank's ray tracing isn't of a very high quality and only managed 30fps

What, every single RTX implementation in existence without the crutch of DLSS? Those reflections? And 4K 30fps, salty because a 2080 Ti can't do that?

An entire APU-based system can ray trace better than a dGPU over twice its price...you literally have no valid argument, please stop whining already. You're as tiresome and obsessed as 4K8K.
