NVIDIA ‘Ampere’ 8nm Graphics Cards

Is that the 3080 or 3090? because I'm counting 12 memory banks around the GPU :D

Its a 3090. There are 12 memory modules on the front and 12 on the back, total of 24 1GB modules.

You can also be assured its a 3090 because it has the NVLINK connection and only the 3090 has NVLINK, no other models have it

Since when? AFAIAA prices have not been announced.

The guy (who seems to be okay and hasnt leaked anything that is wrong so far) who leaked that the 3080 is $800 and the 3090 is $1400 said in a later tweak that the Founders Editions were all an extra $100 more.

That makes sense. They did that last time with founders editions. The number of cards from AIB which were less than Founders edition cars were few and far between though.,

Yep. And then I suspect on top of the $1500 cost that'll convert to £1500 as it tends to do, and then add on price gouging on top of that. How are the FE sold, straight from Nvidia or through etailers? if it's a free for all and etailers can price gouge on the pre orders, I suspect we'll be looking at even more, £1600 or upwards. With the state of the world right now I can't see them having a big batch of these ready to ship at launch I have a really nasty feeling that supply is going to be a real trickle for these. Especially with such large GPUs sizes meaning less yields etc and all this Covid stuff.

Think I'm gonna pre order 3080 and 3090 if they go live, then make a decision as info comes out.

The ideal scenario is AMD details come out and it looks like a winner and I cancel both.

Bloody Nvidia. Ridiculous pricing.

LOL... don't complain about pricing if you are going to pre-order BOTH cards without waiting to see what AMD brings. Yeesh.

What are you on about? Not sure you know how this works, maybe this is your first rodeo.

Course I'm going to pre order both, protect myself against supply shortages and give myself the time to decide.
