It's the bike release.
Lol. Would be too funny if it was.

What a strange time to even release any bike related stuff. Should have waited until after the gpu is released knowing how people would react. If indeed tomorrow it turns out to be a bike, watch all the meme start :p

Surely it means we find out today? Isn't he based in Miami and posted it 8th his timezone. So 7am 9th now, so in theory, could be hours away?
If it's today it won't be until tonight. I'm gonna assume it's tomorrow though.

I'm starting to see AMD strategy with the bikes now, look at the hype it's created in forums everywhere :p
This is it, people are not happy with AMD holding off, but look at all the talks and forum chat about it, by doing what theyr'e doing... leaving people hanging it's creating some serious interest now in AMD... the onluy caveat is, if this turns out to be a pathetic card, that will put the nail in AMD's coffin and I hope for their sake, this wait and silence is worth it and I'm 99% sure it's going to be, I beleive this navi card is going to be something serious for the first time since the 295x2!

That VR bench I posted would seem to indicate that AMD has something that can beat the 3080. How soon, and how much is another question. If they are still silent by the time I have seen the reviews and I have the opportunity to buy a 3080, I'll just buy the 3080 and enjoy it until the dust settles. When something better comes along, I'll decide if I want to hold or a eat some lost resale and flip it.

I *could* wait if I knew there was something worth waiting for and how long the wait would be. -two variables that are still unknown with a little over a week to go. If AMD have something to say, the clock is ticking.

That Open VR bench is from what, 8-9 months ago. And I believe they know that it's a 4800H APU from AMD, some kind of Asus laptop. Nobody knows what GPU was used. And I really think if there was anything in it more would have been said about it lately.

I don't know what performance AMD's new cards are going to be but I definitely wouldn't read anything from that benchmark.

It's the same strategy Sony used with the PS5. Nothing said for agggeees, it created all this talk and build up. Then bam, dropped a lot of games and the console and the place exploded.
