why what’s wrong with having two 3090s in SLI?
Sli has been dead for years now, 3080 doesn't even have sli fingers anymore as NVIDIA are moving away from it.
I think 3090's in SLI could be the leet measure of enthusiast gaming at 4K. Maybe a solid 50-70fps 4k Ultra 2xMSAA RDR2. GPU's are struggling to keep up already with the latest games we need vastly more performance.
? I think you are confusing SLI with nvLink, which is very much not dead. The only reason nVidia restricted it to the 3090 was so the 3080 couldn't compete with it in prosumer markets.
Or rephrased, mGPU is dead in gaming for the time being.
It's coming back imo, just not in the same form as SLI/Crossfire. Multi GPU has lots of applications now, just not really gaming

I’ll be buying direct from Nvidia a few prices seem to be creeping up on cards here on OC ! Would love someone to explain why I can buy Nvidia founders edition for £650 direct but the 3rd party ones are going for £100s of pounds more because of a few flashes RGB lights lol , A little cheeky and a little bit of money grabbing going on here by the looks of it. If anything the founders edition looks the nicest to me with its new bronze metal wash look.

Obviously that’s Nvidia’s doing for direct sales, cutting the middle men (retailers) and costs out. Not the retailers doing...
