** NVIDIA RTX 30 SERIES (3090 / 3080 / 3070) NOW ONLINE AT OcUK **

Did anyone who ordered a gigabyte eagle get a dispatch email?

I ordered one as that was one that was in stock and managed to place my order at 14:05 so just wondering how fast you had to be to actually get one dispatched today?
I've ordered eagle at 14.23 and just got an email they don't have it and I'm in a queue

If the items are now out of stock why was my payment processed and complete? You literally stole my money

Overclockers have always taken money for pre-orders up front as it makes despatch a painless issue rather than 12 hours of working out which cards have paid, which have expired ....

If you want to cancel your order and get the money back there is a form that you can fill in at https://forums.overclockers.co.uk/t...deliveries-how-to-cancel-your-order.18899277/ (follow the link in the first post).

Having so many angry people cant be good for nvidia. They'd been better off delaying the launch for a month when they have more stock.

Wait...what just happened? I just got an email a day after they took money from my account for an item that did not say anything about being out of stock. I was on three other websites trying ( as OCUK was just mostly unreachable) and they quite honestly said that they ran out of stock. So...I persevered with OC and managed to get an order in - even then, no word of having no stock or queuing system. I am pretty sure it said something like 'Shipping on the 23rd" of September.

Now....I get an OUT OF STOCK email, giving me absolutely NO information as to when I can expect the card that they took the money for. Do I let you keep my money for a week, two weeks, a month....TWO MONTHS? You have to be freaking kidding me? I'd rather it be earning interest in my account than yours.

OC If you cannot give us even a ball park idea of when we can get the product you took money for, then you should refund the money, keep people in the queue and take the money when you have stock in the order people placed and original paid for an order.

This isn't a Kickstarter!

here you go simple fill form out and get refund

Yes that is disappointing, I ordered on the premise that the website displayed ETA October, now its out of stock with a lifetime expectancy as to when it will be shipped.

I am going to sleep on it over the weekend, but a bit more clarity on exactly where in the queue would be useful at this point.

It almost sounds like NVIDIA have no idea how much stock will be shipped to which reseller and when.

Did anyone else pre order a card and not received an order number or confirmation email (or anything)? My account has no trace of my order so I have no information, yet my account has been charged. I have no order number so I can't even request a refund. Anyone else experience this - if so what steps did you take to resolve?

Just got my order confirmation / out of stock email for the Asus tuf. Glad to see it appears I will get it at £649 + p+p so no big deal for me to wait. Cheers to Gibbo and the OC UK guys.

Personally I welcome a longer wait with a place in th Q and at a sensible price. Moores law is dead was spot on about prices rocketing (the Tuf non oc is £800+ elsewhere now) and according to him thats with the GPU partners getting a $50 discount / rebate on the chips from Nvidia till October to offset the higher costs for the cooler designs. The prices are only going to go up. Don't be surprised if 16/20 GB Vram Ti/Super 3070 and 3080's are announced after big navi is launched if AMD have competitive cards as well

I've used OcUK for over 10 years, never encountering any major issue for any of the parts I've previously ordered. Yesterday was an exception and unique.

I believe OcUK will try their best to fulfil the pre-order backlog but understand there are external factors affecting their stock levels, so I see little point in cancelling and requesting a refund as the likelihood of finding any 3080 elsewhere is low.

At least by keeping my OcUK order open and waiting in a queue gives me the possibility of getting my 3080 at some point.

Am I happy about it, no. Can I be patient and see what happens, yes.

He is kinda right in what he is on about. He is pointing out that other sites were a bif more "honest" and reliable in information given to the clients and pre orders. Now its a que and 0 relevant information. Just a bunch of vague info about trying to get excused for a wierd practice. Having 800£ "drying" somewhere with no goods to show is always very frustrating.

I would be more patient if a) It had been a pre-order without taking cash until stock was there or b) some tiny indication of when they might get stock or c) an idea of where abouts in the queue we are.

Hard to make a refund decision when you have no idea at all as to when you'll get the goods you've paid for. If it's in a couple of week - yup, I'd be okay with that. A couple of months, no - I would not be happy with that.

Put people in a queue - take the money when they have stock for you. If someone wants to refund, then the queue gets smaller. This seems like a more honest way to do business than what I've just experienced.

I ordered the 2070S last year got at the launch price (it immediately went up loads) did I have to wait for my card. Yes
Did it take months - yes.
Was i bothered. No
Did OCUK steal my money. No
Is the card still more or less the same as what I paid for it. Yes
just hold your horses. NVidia stock levels were dreadful, not OCUK fault
