** NVIDIA RTX 30 SERIES (3090 / 3080 / 3070) NOW ONLINE AT OcUK **

Its poor website servers, price hikes whilst in basket and making payment and lack of correct information that bothered me.

I have purchased the last 3 generations at launch from ocuk and of course there is a que you prepare yourself for that as its a new launch but what you don't prepare yourself for was the utter cluster f#$! that occurred yesterday I've never had cards prices jumping £60 whilst I'm trying to pay and have 404 error whilst accessing the site or what appear to be outlandish and incorrect stock dates

Just got my order confirmation / out of stock email for the Asus tuf. Glad to see it appears I will get it at £649 + p+p so no big deal for me to wait. Cheers to Gibbo and the OC UK guys.

Personally I welcome a longer wait with a place in th Q and at a sensible price. Moores law is dead was spot on about prices rocketing (the Tuf non oc is £800+ elsewhere now) and according to him thats with the GPU partners getting a $50 discount / rebate on the chips from Nvidia till October to offset the higher costs for the cooler designs. The prices are only going to go up. Don't be surprised if 16/20 GB Vram Ti/Super 3070 and 3080's are announced after big navi is launched if AMD have competitive cards as well

Why is that £640 ? Is it the OC version? My email didnt mention anything about a lower price

Honestly, where is all the hate for Overclockers UK coming from?

Everything about this has been planned by Nvidia. Overclockers have allowed pre-ordering on a first come, first served basis. You've placed your order you know you're getting one it's just a question of when not if. @Gibbo even came on the forum to tell us which cards they had in stock and explained why they would be kept as pre-order so that we'd have a better chance of getting one.

As for being able to get on the site, I saw that they had roughly 40 times the amount of regular traffic all of which was likely spamming f5 which is essentially the same as DDOS attack as far as my understanding goes. Is it any wonder the site crashed?

Well I ended up with an "auto" e-mail saying first attempt at order suceeded - except website still says it failed, second order looked to have suceeded but at higher price and no confirmation e-mail for that one.
After contacting by webnote they said they would adjust the price to the original and said they will refund difference to credit card (not showing there as yet) - but, looks like I'll get it at the original price when it comes in, so far so good.
Weirdly on the website I now have "two" orders the second "succesfull" one actually shows the video card twice at two prices in the same order - but total shipped is £700 (which matches adjusted pricing on 1 card) - the earlier "failed" order is still showing as well (with 1 card), but so far I haven't been charged for that - website is still somewhat screwy then. Have replied to webnote for a little more clarity on this, but I think it will be ok

Also add timely and thorough communication.

Perhaps add only taking money when ready to ship too.

I have had the same crap from HP with the Reverb G2. UK retailer leaked 15th September for release, so i gave them £500+ in early July. And now? Still no date for release. I have handed out over £1100 for items that no one knows when they will ship. I feel dumb accepting this crap....but here I am, accepting it again. If I know it's loooong wait, I'll get a refund....which is one of the reasons they wont tell us I suspect.

What is the easiest way to get a suggestion to Gibbo? There MUST be captcha codes at checkout for the 3090. The 3080 and ps5 botting going on over the last 24 hours has taken my mood from 'holy crap new tech we're going to have something to lift our moods after covid-19' to 'there are dark times and people are paying bot software to buy all our stuff' I genuinely do not think a bot can complete a captcha code. PLEASE PLEASE add these codes to checkout OCUK!

I don't think OCUK should be taking as much blame as they are receiving.

This has been an unprecedented amount of orders, if anything NVIDIA should be to blame for not giving AIB partners enough time to fulfil stock etc.

Understandably the website was not able to cope and we don't have ETA for some of the cards, or even a personal ETA on where we are in a queue.

Maybe this is something OCUK can improve on, until then we are where we are.

I'd also like to know if there is any info about the KFA cards, i'm fine with beginning of October as I'm waiting for my waterblock.

But if its earlier i'd love to give it a test drive ;)

Well I think I made my mind. Ill go maybe with the 3090 considering how long I think this 3080 will take I rather just fork out the dif. and get the full on beast. Maybe will arive as soon as 2021. Kappa

I ordered from the US with my order saying the cost is £635.06($752.96) but my account was charged $850.28(£717.14). Has anyone had a similar issue? I just want to know where this extra cost came from and if customer service would adjust this for me.

I ordered the Palit GeForce RTX 3080 Gaming Pro 10GB GDDR6X PCI-Express Graphics Card when it said there were 11 units in stock and after I had checked out it said there were still 2 left showing the same price that was shown for my initial checkout.
