Ah fair enough, I should've thought about if you specifically meant non OC or not, I assumed you meant Strix in general - my bad!

All good, it really does suck that they're split like they are, maybe they're doing some binning? Only way that would explain why they've split it into OC/non-OC and in all honesty if I knew the OC was arriving first I would have just spent the £20 more for the OC rather than the non-OC.

With the website dying and reviews out I managed to catch reviews basically going "Yea these cards really don't overclock well or at all, GPU Boosting is good enough" and thats why I decided to go with the non-OC before just buying whatever page loaded first. Even the EVGA with the over 400 watt power limit doesn't overclock well, just apparently holds clocks at around 2025~2080mhz, in reality only gives what like 2 fps more vs the TUF at 1900mhz~1950mhz.

Historically EVGA have had a habit of prioriting US orders well before UK/EU orders, and this time from what has been said they aren't even communicating on dates with the UK suppliers, so it might be better to see if you can get a more local order lined up and then cancel here (though obviously this is speculation and I might be wrong).

That's not the order number, it begins 586.... it will be on an email not the website.

For EVGA you will almost certainly be able to obtain an EVGA card in the USA long before there is stock in the UK.

Damn, that's what I feared.

I guess I'm probably just going to cancel this order then and start looking for a 3080 in the states somewhere. It felt good to secure an order a few days ago, but without any confirmation email and the lacks of news regarding EVGA stock, this card probably isn't coming anytime soon.

Good luck canceling. It's next to impossible to get anyone to reply to you. I've tried with zero response

The calculator says i'm 20th in the queue for a Zotac...

If that's accurate (Given the people that have posted their orders), then that's quite the result.

Im a bit skeptical though, there is a lot of orders that are obviously unaccounted for.

Yeah true I've heard from GN and other sources of info that the diminishing returns do hit pretty hard for hard OCing, that is why however though I did still decide on a pre-OC'd card, because I think it'll sit at a very decent sweet spot consistently.

They've setup a form to cancel, you can get the link from the sticky post https://forums.overclockers.co.uk/t...deliveries-how-to-cancel-your-order.18899277/

Just fill it out and then they'll get to it (Probably take a few days, all depends how many are cancelling), someone confirmed they cancelled their order earlier today by filling it out (Unsure when they filled it out).

You either: A: Chance it, get a refund and wait for that random re-stock on some website you've never used before which works out or it doesn't and you lose your place in the queue, or B: You bide your time until they re-stock. Unless you want to torture yourself with queue positions, it's best you check in every once in a while, and wait for OC to update everyone, otherwise we will speculate ourselves into insanity, lol.

Why would you not keep your place in the queue but also grab a GPU when you see a random re-stock elsewhere. You don't need to get a refund and lose your place to do this.

Really, when they said "pay £20 and it'll be faster" it was more of a comment on shipping, it seems.

In terms of data science, I know a good bit to tell you this 'list' is not going to give you a good indicator on who is first, unless you simply use the timestamp on order, which I think is more than likely the case if 'first come, first serve' is used.

If you're talking about the script, it's trying to guess based on the spreadsheet of ordernumbers against time of order, and given the percentage of "which card people have reported they purchased" trying to figure out how many orders in front of you are for the same card. Seems like a reasonable way to do it, given no other information.

Actually, I slightly take it back - I don't think they're taking order numbers anymore. So maybe it's less good than I'd assume. Guess it's just percentages and order#-since-180.

Apparently I am 25 mate.what tine did you order? What’s your order number??

I checked my order again after about 20 mins and apparently I've gone from being 186 In the queue I'm now 90 In the queue so I'm wondering If It actually works properly. I have a Zotac on order

It's absolutely a guess, and has zero input from OcUK. Though that sounds like you slipped a digit somewhere, to be honest.
