Having failed at launch due to indecisiveness and website failures and finally deciding to gamble on potentially just going for a 3090 instead...I'm now torn between joining the queue at OCUK and waiting for stock at other retailers/Nvidia...But either feels like a crapshoot.

But really don't want an ugly card in my system :D

Just been reading another website that I can not mention regarding pricing and it actually says they dont expect stock till at least 6 weeks from launch date due to selling out.

Glad to see the update!

It's sample size is now 949 orders.
I would say some of that data is incorrect, though. Looking at the table, there's a bunch of stuff with dates significantly before the actual launch time. I'd believe the 1358, but there are some clearly badly entered dates.

Position 595 for Gigabye Eagle. having ordered at 1700

Sorry to be a pain, but can anyone give an estimate for timeframe? Are we taking weeks or months? I only ask is that I have decided to get a desktop and built a rig specifically for this card and my processor doesn't have any graphics capability, I literally don't have anything other my laptop at the moment and if its going to not be with me for months, I'll get a temporary card - any estimates on time frames would be appreciated!

Thanks.

I'd agree with Sparx, nobody knows - probably not even Gibbo, as it's a play by ear situation. They probably know what's coming in this week and an idea of the following, but after that it's all down to Nvidia and production.

That being said, you've chosen one of the most popular brands as well as card models (Eagle seems much more popular than Gamin and AORUS models) and so I think November is realistic based on that and what Gibbo said in a post on release day.

Or he's referring to the 100s of people who filled in the cancellation form they setup on Friday. Duh :D

But they could also be some bot orders recognised, but more likely the cancel request form submissions being the vast majority of work today...

Derp, of course. I assumed it would be an automated process but thinking about it that makes more sense :D

I got the basic EVGA card :p but 53 isn't bad! Obviously not a popular one, but I have never had issues with an EVGA product :) so I am being positive.

Same, i'd of picked up an EVGA one myself but there was so little info on water blocks until the last minute. I've had to buy a KFA2 this time around, first time since my 580 i've gone with a different manufacture.

I hope i don't regret this decision.

Is that the company whose definition is 'one who E-buys'?
I saw 30 November dispatch for 3080s on their site this morning, sounds ambitious?

Fair enough, hadn't checked recently :) point is still it can't be accurate down to the exact position in the queue per card brand though, as it's based off averages.

It's useful to know your rough position, but I'm just advising the other guy that he's not at exactly position 3 for his card in the queue, but he's still very high up in the orders for that brand.

Yep its extrapolated data and will get better the more entries there are.

But there is no way of knowing that although you might be position 3 atm, that the 50 people with earlier order numbers didnt all buy the same card and you are actually no 53.

Good luck, I haven't ever had KFA2 but they've been around a longish time now, and I'm sure it'll still absolutely rock.

Tbh, if 53 is anywhere near accurate (got it at 14.47 so it may be) I am hoping I'll get some time next week. But I'll soon see! Ha.

Like I saw another member say, I ordered a new system for this without integrated graphics, so that'll be interesting to see my position officially!
