@Gibbo Thank you for the update and for the queue position updater. Great response and I got my zotac order in 14:12 although emails says 14:19. Doubt I will be in this batch but good news either way.

Was it the Strix you ordered just after 14:30 looking at your previous posts? If so I'd say you should get it in October at least.

I'm apparently 121 for the Zotac.. Order went through at 1521 hrs. I'll keep my order in for now as I live in Abu Dhabi and they haven't had any 3080s here yet and no one can tell me when they're due in.. If I manage to get one here before mine is shipped I'll cancel then

Nope. I went for the TUF OC (at 14:34, presumably 58th in the long list). Thought they would be more available at launch.

Zotac seem to be fairly hot on getting stock in. So you might not have to wait too long.

Still if you ordered in the first half hour odd, you have a good chance of October stock imo.
 
Its kind of annoying that people can order these cards from over seas from a UK based retailer. I'm now saying it shouldn't be allowed but many for the first month of launch these cards should only be sold in the UK?

The original delivery date for the Eagle was 23rd so I’m hoping there will be some coming in on Wednesday this week. As far as I am aware despite Gibbo saying there were Eagle’s in stock, I’ve not heard of anyone actually getting an Eagle card delivered from OCUK.

Maybe so, but add to the fact nobody who has ordered a Gigabyte card from OcUK has confirmed they have received one, yet I have seen several for sale from the store I ordered from (with the merchandise), which is a significantly larger establishment than OcUK. I believe what they are reporting. Look at many of the other retailers who received a small quantity of stock, most are saying November now. We will get dribs and drabs through... Fingers crossed it doesn't take that long. But I can't see it being anytime soon.

Yea same here, I need a bit more information before I decide what to do, I want the card (obviously, me and thousands of other people) but if it really is going to take months I wont wait that long, I will simply get my money back and revisit this upgrade at a later date, I have a 1080Ti anyway which I am actually quite happy with, I just want to play Control and Death Stranding with RTX, and check out Shadow of the Tomb Raider with RTX aswell (already completed it but I'd like to play through again as it was so good).

So, you live in a country that gets stock on the day of launch... God, it even has Launch days! You can even go to the said store and buy one directly from the counter... and you complain that some people from overseas want to have the same item?

These cards, if we're lucky, will be in stock in my country sometimes in November... and with prices as high as 1200-1400 GBP, just because there's import tax and stores add something on top of it to make some easy money...

Now, not talking about GPUs, former soviet countries don't even get games in their original language (like Assassin's Creed or Watch Dogs should be based in English). We only get a trimmed down audio version of the game with only Russian as the main language and sometimes English for audio only. But all the texts in Russian. So I buy digital products using VPN because somehow we "aren't worthy" to have said products in English.

All the nice products have a 20-30% increase on their price tags, just because we're not European enough or something...
