Official Zotac rep underfire on Reddit with regards to the 1 - 3 % lower performance..

And this is why so many manufacturers put even small overclocks in for most cards. To prevent people crying about 1% differences.

Last gen in fact the base cards were all clocked lower then the overclocked FE cards. Didn't hear any complaints then.

I have more than one PC, in fact I'm thinking about putting the Zotac into this case...

I am really hoping to hear something soon about my Zotac card. Got my order in at 14:30.
Calculator said im 26th, so hoping to see it this week :D
 
That earlier Reddit link to the new Zotac backtracking quote also shows some users with the card's RGB not working.

Definitely a card to avoid IMO.
