Official Zotac rep underfire on Reddit with regards to the 1 - 3 % lower performance..

Reviews and reports didnt point favourably for the Zotac.

This isn't true. All reviews gave it a 'recommended' stamp. Unless 'random angry internet person on Reddit who has no intention of buying the card' counts as a review.

EDIT: You're talking about the 3090, not the 3080.

I went by TechPowerUp.

Whilst they didn't say the card was bad, they did call out its power limitation. With a general 10% perf increase above the 3080 whilst OC'd.

Whereas the ROG Strix came in at 19% with a minimal OC.

 

[Things change I've changed]

The cooler is great, 70c max at 99% load with custom 70% max fan speed profile (actually very quiet, my rx 5700 xt at 48 max fan speed was louder)
I have crashed once in black ops 3 and rage 2 but that did happen with my rx 5700 xt.. Black ops 3 likes to crash sometimes when changing graphic settings.
Played 30 hours so far.. The new Mafia definitive edition ran extremely well. The card seems to hover between 1830 to 1950mhz
I just feel like keeping it especially since I won't get another for awhile and need to pay extra.. Don't have a spare card too and want to play watch dogs legion / cyberpunk on release

Any recommendations for more bench tests?

Only the usual, 3DMark, PassMark, FurMark, Heaven UNIGINE etc, not sure if you've already tried these?
