I dont blame people for trying to figure out their place in the queue as a group or whatever, but the ones who just throw out their order details and then ask when they'll get theirs cracks me up. Like even 3 mins reading anywhere about the 3080 lets you know that nobody, even OC themselves really have much of a clear picture about lead times, and people swan in and think everyone is somehow gonna have an insight into their exact order :D Why on earth would anybody know, they don't even know what's going on with their own orders :D

Yeh I had an order in at 14:04 with a competitor when the site here crashed, they refunded as out of stock a few hours later so I ended up getting one here at 17:30.
Gaming X Trio. 1342 in the unofficial queue. Have to wait and see how much the manufacturing ramps up and hopefully there are no more need for lockdowns and such.

It seems the non-OC TUF was almost as popular as the MSI Gaming Trio.. I was amazed with the TUF OC ordered on Friday to only 'potentially' be around 1000 in..

:)

Assuming when dates are more known would it be better to sell on the MSI at cost, or just cancel it, I'm just thinking that I'd rather if giving up a place in the queue it would be nice to pass that on to someone here rather than a potential scalper..
We'll get a better idea once ocuk come up with that queuing system. I highly doubt its going to be as high as everyone thinks, not everyone ordered will be a graphics cards and not to mention how many of those will have been bots or the same person ordering multiple cards.

I think the 'not every order will be a GPU' thing isn't going to be much of a factor - Im sure there will be a couple, but the site was basically unusable for 2+ hours, I can't imagine there were people sitting there for an hour trying for the 30th time to check out a PSU. Maybe for the people way down the line who were ordering the day after or late that evening

I paid £100 to Gypsy Rose and she gave me this is as my queue number:
3.14159265358979323846264338327950288419716939937510

She does children's parties, Bar mitzvahs and Ryzen releases.

Im tired of thinking about it lol.
Im about 100-200 position. So by end of October latest I would say. Sorry but if by the end of october they have not pumped more than 100 cards in a given line, then its game over for everyone.

Been looking at the 3090 pages today. Must resist.

@danmackers - yeah, I would imagine most of the orders that day and in that timeframe would have been for 3080s.

I'm curious how many of the submissions to the unofficial stock tracking data for ASUS TUF were people who ordered the OC card and just didn't even realise the difference.

By the unofficial calc i'm position 1 for a FTW ultra but real world could be significantly higher. no one knows when stocks coming in, if it isn't here by November i'll cancel as i only really wanted it for CP. People expect too much from these guys as they are no doubt fighting for stock with other retailers as well. far too many variables to offer delivery estimates, not even gibbo could do that without knowing several months worth of stock info.
Them implementing a queue system and ETAs of stock will save them buttload of admin for sure though, people are too impatient to wait and are probably hammering their phones/emails still.

Does anyone know how the EVGA Step Up program works?

I'm tempted to buy a 2080 super which will last me for the next couple of months while everything calms down a bit, then just upgrade to the 3080 through their Step Up program.

But I don't know if that program is only for people who purchased and didn't know a new card was about to release...i.e. if I purchase an 2080 Super (which is technically the previous generation now) while the 3080 is released I won't qualify.

I've looked at their Step Up program page but it's not clear from the FAQ.

Just went to the Nvidia website out of interest at the 3080 and took me a few seconds to realise the BUY NOW button was back. So I clicked it and it started to go through the ordering process then the window froze and I had to refresh the screen and it went back to Out Of Stock. Looks like perhaps they just released some items but still sold out in seconds.
That's actually a bug on their site I think.
