What is the difference between Asus TUF and Asus TUF OC, apart of the 30 pounds price difference. Is OC, overcklockes by well overcklockers or is it like a special version made by Asus? Thanks. I have TUF on the order, no idea when I am going to get it, my order even does not start with 50....

May be as simple as the BIOS power limit having a higher offset so it start so the card can run slightly higher clocks. Plus a tweaked fan profile to match.

Aww man thats TUF:p

Some folks have speculated that the chips may be of slightly higher quality too, but I've yet to find any AIB companies confirm or deny this.

I have thought it was supposed to be 1 per customer. Oh well, vote with your wallet, I know it is hard as there are people out there who $hit money.

Well I got an email last night saying it’s now 1 per customer and that I’d have to cancel one, which given the circumstances is absolutely the right approach.

So hopefully this bumps a few people up in the queue

How comes you bought two? You know that the 3080s don't have SLI right? Or is the software you're using work regardless?

"Next Day Delivery,"
Just because you ordered next day delivery doesn't mean you'll get it the next day. It only takes effect when the order actually ships (unless the site states otherwise), that's for example if I ordered on the 1st, and it shipped on the 4th, then I would most likely get it on the 5th.

Aha I wasn’t intending to!

It was to do with the website timing out when adding the cards to the basket. I thought I’d added one when actually I’d added two. Obviously I could see that when I got to the checkout, but I could find the option to remove one. So I figured with the clock ticking and the site going so slowly it was either I order both or fall way back in the queue and get neither

Given the **** show Nvidia have caused, they should take the hit and ensure that everyone who has paid for a 3080 should receive a complimentary copy of Watchdogs. It's just an added "**** you" to their customers if the promotion expires whilst we queue.

Interesting, because now I've got my order number I ran mine through that thing aswell, and it's come back with a radically different number to yours. I also ordered an Asus TUF (not the OC, just the standard one) at 17:29 on the 17th, so before you did and it put me at over 2000 in the queue. Although I know the information is unlikely to be very useful or accurate (interesting though) it's very strange it would be put me so far behind you in the guestimated queue when I landed an order for the same card nearly half an hour before you did.
Are you sure you didn’t incorrectly enter your number?
I’ve gone through the programme around 5 or 6 times at this point to see how consistent it is, I started off around 1240~ and today it says I’m 1142 so it’s what I’d say is within error margins.....:D

The delivery date was the 19th, it still on my orders page lol.

@Gibbo

I don't know if someone has already suggested this, or considered this, but it's just a request ...

Can you please not post details of stock availability on the day of launch of future RTX 3000 series releases?

I know that doing so has all best intentions and indeed it is obviously appreciated by all, but looking at the reports which indicate that bots have been rife, posting up the projected stock and availability probably allows them to be more effective. It won't stop the issue of bots and the various other shortcuts being abused, but it certainly won't make their life any easier and might just serve to give mere mortals a fighting chance of getting an order in.
