Just wanted to leave this here. Another gent ordered a Palit Non OC at 16:37 on 17/09 and has received shipping confirmation today. I checked his order in the calculator and got position 49. with a last four of 385X on the order number.

I ordered a Palit Non OC at 17:12:50 on 17/09 and checked myself in the calculator and got position 71. with a last four of 555X on the order number.

I assume at worst I am 100 behind and at best I am only 10 behind if the numbers are incorrect. I will of course update when I get a shipping confirmation. Another thing to note is that when I clicked order on the OCUK website. It showed in stock at 7 items. I clicked and of course the website failed and I clicked again. When I finally got through The number had jumped upwards to in stock 10 items.

What this tells us is that given position 49 on the unofficial calculator which has already shipped that there is either way more positions in the calculator than there are orders OR that there is a pretty high volume of Palit non OC cards going through the OCUK warehouse. Either way you look at it guess it looks like PALIT orders are to be filled pretty quick. I hope mine ships soon so I can let you all know.

Either wait it out or buy a really cheap and chearful card to tide you over like a 1060 6gb till the stock is in place.

Well bear in mind we know it wont actually sell for that price, the 3080 prices have already been gouged.
 
Maybe someone can create a script that checks now in stock website, and when a 3080 appears in stock it triggers your phone alarm to wake you, is that possible?

Well i managed to get my order in here on OCUK for the Gigabyte Eagle at the stock price of £649 which is the same price as the founders edtion so it can be done.

that was already done for the nvidia store and released on reddit. Nvidia have since pledged to change their store. However, the bot exists.

Wait what? That's ridiculous. How is it fair that someone who ordered say a Palit get's bumped down the queue just because someone else didn't want to wait for a different model? As far as I am aware your order number correlates to the particular card you ordered. If you change to a different card there's no way they can just slot you in ahead of loads of other people.

Whelp that might be a problem haha. I wonder if the calculator only takes into account the first three of the last four. Otherwise the orders were being processed in chunks due to system load at the time. Nevertheless statistically speaking we are 3/4ths of the way to the seventies if the shipped one is to be believed. Which no matter which way you slice it is a good sign unless palit surged cards at launch and have nothing left and drop off.

I have no idea how it works if I am completely honest with you. I asked if it was possible to upgrade my order from the Non OC Strix to the OC Strix or if I had to cancel and reorder and was told I can just upgrade as long as I am okay with them charging my card the difference. And just out of curiosity I asked if this would change my order number and they said no, my time of order and order number will stay the same and said I wouldn't lose a position in my queue
