you mean get on another waiting list. That will be £2300 ish and still nothing to show other than a place in a queue that you can’t actually see
I know its stupid, but it would be nice to get my machine back so I can play some games again especially after all this talk of further lockdown! :|

I ordered an MSI gaming trio over the phone just after they went live and was told by the sales guy that I was number 3 in the queue. I spoke to them this afternoon to get the PSU I ordered shipped early and they had no news on the graphic card; said they were waiting along with everyone else....
They were taking orders over the phone while the site imploded? I wouldn't have even considered calling them.. thats smart

Nice! Here's a link for those interested. and here's the list of eligible hardware(s). TUFs and Strix(s) and 3090s all there. No cheeky reveals for any 20GB cards, though :D, just the 3070/8GBs.

Interestingly, it seems that you need to publish your review on one of the specific websites listed - including OcUK.

> You must publish an accurate and informative written description of your Eligible Product alongside any rating (if applicable) (“Review”) on one of the following websites (“Designated Site”)

Well, I was already considering swapping my X Trio to the Asus Tuf OC..... this just sealed the deal! I would imagine I'm now at the back of a long queue (with another retailer) but I've already resigned to waiting.

Don’t get me wrong, I totally understand. I’m mainly trying to talk myself out of doing the same thing. My son ordered an MSI Gaming Trio X for his 21st Birthday with some money I gave him. I feel so bad for him that he may have to wait ages, or not get it at all, that I’m very tempted to see if I can get him a 3090 instead and he can cancel the 3080 order

Definitely dad of the year

A competitor mentioned on twitter that they have an MSI shipment coming in either this Friday or early next week. Would not be suprising for that to also be the case with OC. As for existing shipments one person in this thread mentioned his Ventus getting shipped on Monday, I think he ordered at round 14:30pm.

Interesting take on their price increases.

They said that the stock they had at MSRP sold out within minutes but they held their prices until all the pre ordered stock for 6 weeks had been used up and then based on the fact they had no idea what price they might be paying for stock after 6 weeks, thats when they implemented their price increases as people were checking out, just like ocuk.

So if you did order from there and paid more than the starting price, you wont be seeing your order until November.

I have found an interesting CS tweet from a competitor answering a customer re his pre-order, in the UK. The competitor doesnt print but they S**n.

"hi guys, you cant look at it like that. Order numbers are incremental to a degree, but that is for everything on the website, not just RTX cards. We have LESS than 500 pre orders outstanding on nearly ALL of the 3080 models. We will be sharing more info this afternoon"

So this may also apply to OC? Not all order numbers placed at that time were for cards? Meaning our fictional calculator may not be as accurate as we would like, (although we know to give it wiggle room).

I notice there's been nobody in the thread today celebrating getting a dispatch email, I wonder if there was no new stock today (or it all went to people who don't use the forum I suppose)

Hopefully OCUK will put us out of our misery soon so we can stop speculating
