Sure but you're not getting the benefits that's the point, you might as well go lower resolution and get higher frame rates unless you happen to own some very powerful reading glasses. You can get 4k phone screens and laptops if you want... just no point.
must just have good eyesight then because i see a clear diff between 1440 and 4k even on a 27/28" screen

The sheet and unofficial queue estimator don't ask for order number. I did some graphs based on that mapping on Sunday, but it seems that some stuff knocks it off kilter.

Sure it's subjective, but me and my 32" 4K monitor are in agreement that it's just about the right pixel pitch. Also have a 27" at 2560x1440, and that about hits the sweet spot of good PPI vs being useless ... would not want that at 4K for sure!

So I stick by what I said, subjective as it might be, my experience is to not go 27" on a 4K panel, it's wasted (waste of performance, waste of pixels you can't even see).

Currently have a 32" 4k myself to be fair. I just know it must suit someone out there's use needs

But it completely depends on a) which card you ordered and b) how frequently that company is sending more cards to OcUK
As Rory will tell you, no point having an order at 1358 if you ordered an EVGA.

This was in response originally to someone asking about the zotac trinity

My position on the unofficial queue is 5th. I've seen people who ordered at 14:03 have reported they've got their cards.

So that means OC have shipped out 5 or 6 Zotacs. Either the estimates are wildly, wildly wrong or these cards aren't going out first come first served. They can't be. Someone was told ~38 Zotacs came in the other day and several other confirmed deliveries prior to that.

the que estimate does ask for your order number, and what card you ordered.... and it shows me as 3rd
Apologies, I've been having a bad day month at work and just started drinking. If this was at me, I may have got confused between time and order number.

It'll be interesting to see the official queue when it gets released, I was told in the next few days...

A UK competitor site has created an NVIDIA 30 series status page which lists incoming shipments to them

EVGA expected 25th-29th Sept and then 30th Sept - 2nd October

MSI, Gigabyte, PNY, Palit, ASUS and Zotac between 30th September and 2nd October

Considering stuff is getting sent over by air, hopefully OCUK is getting some cards from that shipment too

This has probably been asked 100 times so far but I can't see the answer.
I ordered a GIGABYTE GAMING OC on the 18th. All was fine payment recieved etc. Got an email just there titled '[Important] Order Update - OUT OF STOCK ITEM(S)'.

It says nothing about a refund or cancellation, I know th item is OOS but I just want to make sure, is my order still live and should it be fulfilled when they recieve the stock?

Cheers for any help.

Their mail server got bashed. I just got the same email and ordered in Saturday. Needless to say your pre-order is still there, I think they obliged to send you an OOS mail, especially given that the cards are out of stock :)
