I see the pre order button so want to pre order the TUF, but, it's not going to be in for months, why are OcUK still accepting pre orders or does OcUK expect stock of those soon?

30 years for me too, I love pcs, they are my livelihood too. But I’ll hoop if I have to play on a console. It’s fine you like both but not me and that’s cool.

I get you, given the choice between playing the same game on the PC or one of the consoles it’s a no-brainer, but man... you’ve missed out on some epic console exclusives (or at least had to wait a bit for said exclusives to become non-exclusives and appear on PC!!).

Granted but it had gotten better the last few years, even bad ports are almost a thing of the past! Cross platform all deved on a pc. But man the pc Xbox store :/ hoop again I had to buy mfs 2020 on it.

the shipping update is a good move considering the flak they were receiving for their perceived price gouging & lack of queue transparancy.

I'm not sure anyone asked.
Good luck getting your card ;)

Well, they did considering people are asking others queue and order time.

It's spelt "transparency" by the way. You can leave this forum now you cancelled your order, thanks.

Nvidia dictate the prices, they can take hits and have it not even count. Exchange rates change all the time. Profit has to be made or a company goes bust.
Another guy posted a link which I repeated of the owner of Falcon Computers boasting on Reddit how he is charging much more for the partner cards to pay for left over 2080ti stock!...

Wait, reviews are out? Fiiiinally. I've been tearing myself down thinking I should have gone TUF, given the lack of reason for Strix - got any links?

Sorry... didn’t mean Strix OC reviews (but can see how that reads!) Just meant that the reviews of the TUF OC seem to indicate limited overhead on its max boost, and the Strix OC is now confirmed with an out the box boost of 1935.

Personally I don't really see the point in constantly acknowledging they have no news, especially across all the different skews - I actually think that'd actually end up being more frustrating to me, seeing Gibbo had posted in the updates thread just to see a 'yeah nothing to report'.

OC seem to have been pretty forthcoming with whatever ad-hoc updates they're getting from suppliers, so I find it pretty easy to assume that if we've not heard anything, it's because they don't know. Each to their own, but I don't really feel like constantly getting an update of 'we still don't know' would make me feel more informed/acknowledged, when that part is kinda clear anyway.

I think they just know **** all in terms of future stock replenishment, when it happens it happens.
Shame no one wants to let us know what's happening really in there.
They took the money and now are like **** em

why wouldn't they? they've got us by the tender parts. either you fork out and sit in the queue or you face not being able to upgrade your PC until god knows when and for who knows what price. especially pertinent to those of us who are essentially trading up our old cards and want to get a decent price for them.

for me, a 3080ti gives me access to rendering horsepower that i'd have needed a top end workstation part to come close to. that's huge for my attempt to pivot my career post covid. i don't really have a choice but to sit and take it.

Well it seems like their competition are doing a better job and they have shut down further preorders to meet current demand, unlike OC.

Yeah but it's like a queue on a queue on a queue, it's like I'm queueing for an occasion on new year's Day already, makes no sense.

We can probably extrapolate from the info over on the competitors website that shall not be named, on when OCUK could possibly receive more stock. Status button on top of home page. Shame OCUK have not implemented this. Simple extra page with basic info.

I got an Eagle at 15:09, so I feel like I am in the spot between feeling like I am close enough in line to stick it out, but possibly miles behind depending on stock progression, so I don't want to be too hasty before learning my official place. unofficial calculator has me 125th in line for an Eagle, so if that is remotely close to reality, that doesn't sound too bad once deliveries pick up

218 for me and I got my order in at 1513 for the same card - Gigabyte Eagle!
