Hi, long time lurker here. I've just called up CS and asked, if I was wanting to receive a 3080 sooner which card would I be best changing it to (I had a Ventus on order unofficial queue position roughly 350).

The chap I spoke to recommended the Zotak trinity OC and said I'd likely get it sent out from the first batch when they receive a delivery. Feeling a lot more hopeful now :).

EVGA seems to be the unlucky choice. The "other place" say they're getting some this week, that's all I've seen. What's ominous to me though is here they are the only cards you can't even pre-order and they didn't even put EVGA 3090s up. That's concerning me somewhat I have to say. But, without any official word it's all I have to go on..

Still waiting on a statement or SOMETHING from Jacob, very concerned that I won't see my EVGA black till Xmas lol.

Considering all the big talk about OCUK having the most buying power, it's quite suspicious that someone else has a firm delivery date, and OCUK has apparently heard nothing from the distributer.

Yeah a lot of talk about OCUK and their buying power but that's all it is right now, talk.

And since Gibbo and all the other staff at OCUK seem to be avoiding customers at the moment (that's what it looks like) I am starting to doubt it.

They'll be back to tell everyone all the cards are selling well when they've got stock

Well now i have expectations of getting mine in next batch then i missed out on first batch
 
I got incredibly lucky earlier today and bagged the ASUS TUF 3080 at a competitor retailer, just had the dispatch email so I’m safe. Arriving tomorrow with DPD. :D

They had 4 in stock for all of 60 seconds! I’m so stoked to be rid of searching for 3080 stock...

Think I’ll keep my GB Eagle pre-order if it does still come in the next month or so, my friend is still after one so will wait that one out.
