You cant just dump a list of names and queue numbers. you would have to email every one individually. that would take a week or more. Thanks data protection for that

I didn’t suggest dumping a list of names and queue numbers, my suggestion is to email people individually telling them their initial queue number while they develop this other system (which seems to be taking a while)

certainly wouldn’t take a week to send individual emails and (I’d hope) nobody on their technical team would testify that. It’d take about an hour to knock up a script

How big is overcklockers warehouse. I am just trying to imagine 20000 cards in a warehouse, if I am 2528th in a queue and there are 20 type of cards, some more or less popular, I am assuming 20k cards gonna have to come at some point to their place. Can they even fit 2000 cards, let alone 20000 ? Bonkers.
I think more realistically mate 2000 - 1850 = 150 cards TOPS if I were to guess. Some outlets received 4 cards on launch day lol

I know there’s not a lot you can do to get stock here quicker, but what I think you could do better is manage customer expectations.

More than a week after the 3080 launch I don’t understand why customers haven’t been told their queue positions for each card. Even if developers are working on an official queue webpage or whatever, it’d take an hour or two tops to pull the data together to at least get users a one off “your current queue position for your card is X, we expect this to change due to cancellations, you’ll be able to track your queue position in real time once our developers have developed a tool for this”

I do have to say that you're taking a rather insular view on this. Others like me have not even seen a single card delivered into the UK since launch, our position in the queue is quite academic until physical stock begins to appear. I cannot gain an ETA from OCUK because the manufacturer will not provide one, and even direct contact with them provides no tangible information.

My queue position is apparantly 5 or 6 but without cards to satisfy even the first in the queue further information is meaningless.

There are customers who have received cards from OCUK, I’ve seen pictures and posts. And Gibbo has give us updates on stock coming in and stock that’s been sent out to customers. Gibbo mentioned there’s be limited numbers in coming weeks, small (<50) and very small (<10) batches of stock arriving. They can’t give you an ETA because they don’t know what stock is going to come in. What they can say, however, is “you’re 5 in the queue” so you can think, ah well just maybe I’ll get my card in the next week or so. Or “you’re 550 in the queue” so you can think, ah, I’ll be waiting a while I can stop refreshing order status page for a month..

i ordered a Palit OC at 2:41 and not shipped, I’m 9th in the unofficial queue.

Not many if any OC at all have come in yet, they have had at least 2 deliveries of the Palit Non OC though hence why people have had them ordering later than you.

14:41 was a bit late to get in first in any case even though Palit not so popular as others.

Anyone here who ordered MSI Gaming X Trio got theirs shipped today? I'm around 120 in the unofficial queue when ordering at 14:32 but I have seen that there is no shipments even from people who ordered around 14:02.

There has been no update today from OC so I am just wondering the status like us all

20,000 cards is 2-5 lorry trailers of stock depending on the size of your trailer and pallet (depending a bit on the size of the cartons the GPU boxes come in).

Not it doesn't? It could just be the people who got the cards never entered their data into the queue which is not 100% accurate.
You're right. If I was successful on launch day why would I be spending time in a forum where people talk about the queues? The successful people probably don't even know this thread exists

I cancelled my MSI card on the weekend, come Monday I got the refund by 10am so they seem pretty quick. Decided to switch out to the Asus Strix OC. According to unofficial queue I'm in first place, if that's anywhere near accurate then I'm a happy boy.
What position were you in the MSI queue?
