This is the same 'gimped' Zotac that everyone's complaining doesn't boost high because of the lower power limit  The non-OC Zotac Trinity does not boost over 2000MHz. Even with the power limit increased to max.
Of course not, you know everything, Reddit told you so....

What's that it went up to 2025, must be a mistake....

Are OCUK letting people swap cards while retaining original order date/time with the result that those who took the time to review before purchase will be waiting longer? There have already been people on here claiming this is the case.

I hope that isn't happening...

I will seriously middle finger salute and walk if this turns out true... Got a PS5 preorder on backup.

It could have 1000 boost but still doesn't negate your daft comments of, "The non-OC Zotac Trinity does not boost over 2000MHz. Even with the power limit increased to max"

Reddit is truth....
Riiiiiight. So it does have an offset then. It's pretty obvious from my comment I meant that GPU Boost doesn't take it past 2GHz.

As I mentioned earlier ,and is now confirmed by OC staff, the order number which is used to calculate queue position is based on processed payment not order time ,making it completly invalid even for rough estimate.Until we get an official one we are all in the dark.

Hi guys

Just catching up with all the posts on Reddit (Zotac), there are a lot of unhappy people on there! I'm tempted to bin that card and switch to another 3080 (and obviously go to the back of the que), what do you guys think? 1-4% is not huge but its annoying. Whats everyone else here doing who ordered a Zotac 3080?

Some really bad news..... Its not just Zotac cards that are going strange.. its all, MSI, Gigabyte, EVGA, Asus... have a different capacitor layout to that of Nvidia.

Not true or proven at all. Just a theory.

Also Asus TUF was explained to be exempt as using much better quality capacitors.

Finally some degree of clarification. Thank you Nik. Now why couldn't Gibbo have just said this a couple of days ago, there'd have been less drama?!?!? I will now sit and wait patiently, all I wanted was to understand WTF was going on.
Really pleased to see some proper OCUK interaction, even though its not from someone who is responsible for cards. This is what we want, communication, understanding, shame its taken so long but thanks!

@Gibbo is busier than anyone behind the scenes to grab as much allocation as possible at the best price from Nvidia and the board partners.

If he has accurate worthwhile info to share he'll be straight on here to tell you guys.

Sometimes it's best for the guy closest to ground zero to just make moves behind the scenes.

What he says can be taken as law on here, when his info might not be 100% accurate.

I hope that isn't happening...

If a customer wishes to swap their order from one product to another they will have to cancel their existing order and place a new one for their desired product. Joining the queue at the end.

You said it couldn't, it does, stop trying to backtrack and please try and at least verify the rubbish you post.
You think all these complaints from crashing are from people who overclocked with a boost offset to go past 2Ghz? That would be a pretty dumb thing to complain about. These complaints are from cards crashing when boosting, on their own, past 2Ghz. Which the Trinity does not do. You can get your panties in a bunch over semantics all you like.

i Like this staff member with the responses :)

As each order payment took a different time to process depending upon payment type/terms their order number doesn't match up to the times that orders were taken.

At that point we can no longer use a difference in order number to determine a place in queue.

Add into that the fact we were still processing payments and cancellations until yesterday (I was helping out but there was still webnotes to clear from days before) an individual order's queue position was changing hourly, therefore an accurate queue position was impossible to convey.

For example there were a ton of American customers who'd ordered not realizing they'd have to pay sales tax. Each one had to contact us and tell us they'd cancel and each one bumped someone else up a place in the queue.

We tried to get through all the queries as quickly as possible. Hopefully someone waiting a day/few days after their order and being able to give them an accurate idea of their order position (after we'd cleared those wanting to cancel and all those whose payments hadn't cleared), is better than giving them an inaccurate queue position.

Hopefully at that point we'd also have more info from Nvidia and the board partners about inventory/etas and be able to provide a more accurate queue position/stock eta.

Sometimes these things take days rather than hours.

I know one of the sales guys answered over 300 webnotes about 3080 orders one day, on top of the normal workload! That's 1.6 webnotes a minute that day, and we were all hands to the pump between us to help out and answer them. There was a couple of days I answered 100 3080 queries and I'm supposed to be managing peripherals and monitors!

Thanks for the update.
Glad I opted for the AsusTUF OC.
Getting my *imp card 1030 to tide me by, until I receive it.

I have also just done this. The guy on the phone tells me with my change of preorder to the Zotak trinity OC I am now the 20th preorder for that card, and I am also likely to get it sent out from the first batch. I am glad I saw your post :)
QCo
I spoke to a guy at OCUK via the phone, he tells me that the Zotak trinity OC was the least pre ordered card they have. I asked him how many pre orders for that specific card and he tells me that there are only 20 orders for that version.
Could I ask when this was? Hopping it was today so I can let my mate know, he was abroad on the inital launch and is hoping to join the car with the smallest que.
