@NikTheSHNIK

Hi,was wondering,I get that a real time qeueu calculator will take time, and that you guys are probably bound by some NDA to maybe not tell us some of the exact numbers. But is it maybe possible to post a piechart of the percentage how many card of what type were bought from launch till now lets say?

Even though you wouldn't be giving us any exact number I think this will calm the minds of majority of people here.

I wouldn't worry about it.

If you are in the queue, you are in the queue.

You will get your card as soon as the board partners are able to get it to us.

We will provide information to customers as soon as it become available and keep you informed.

Relax, as there is nothing you can do to speed up things. Get excited and look forward to it, as I look forward to you all getting the next gen cards :)

I'm responsible for monitor purchasing so I look forward to you all grabbing monitor upgrades :)

Im waiting patiently for the samsung G9 think i will drive up from essex to try and see between that and the new LG. I would benefit from some advice closer to the time. May message you in October

I think Nvidia have really ****** up more than we know it.

Just as we thought it couldn't get any worse, these cards a fcking awful!!
what are you talking about,it's some third party cards designed by others that are (supposedly) having issues, what it has to do with nvidia?

Thanks.

As you can imagine, we don't want to annoy and upset our customers, we'd prefer to be able to ship everyone exactly what they ordered!

However things don't go perfectly all the time, but rest assured we are all working our asses off to get you guys what you want!
This sort of communication goes a long way to stopping the mass of web notes you've been having to answer I would think, and I appreciate hearing what the situation is.

Managed to forget I sat researching monitors all day, now you've reminded me I still need to buy one...

Jssus, my upcoming MSI Ventus also has the cheap capacitor placement as Jayztwocents mentioned and igorlabs investigation. I am really skeptical as to carry waiting or not now..

From what some of the reddit electrical engineers have posted, it's possible that Asus' 6x MLCC implementation isn't the best interpretation of the Nvidia component spec either. I believe it's mentioned that you need a combination of MLCC & POPCAPs - one MLCC in the middle, one POPCAP on either the left or right edge, and the other four is up to the AIB to do as they see fit.

While its not the best design, it works? At least I can't find anyone complaining about the TUF, same time its impossible to find anything now since everyone is starting to compare them.
Seems they're also running the same design on the Strix which is their main OCing card so it can't be that bad a design, what I'm super curious is what layout the Aorus Master/Xtreme have now since in the demo they did on YouTube it was running at 2025~2050mhz boost constant, curious if it uses a mix or 6 MLCC like Asus.

lol it is kind of funny with all these rumours of cheap parts, garbage components in the Zotac, makes my EVGA 2080 Super look all the more cosy sitting right where it is. I'm tempted to just cancel and wait until the dust settles from this s... storm and stock is a plenty in 2025 or whatever.

You've got it backwards. The paler cluster is the expensive capacitor. That's a good thing. The other five are cheap ones.
The theory is that some of the AIBs have gone with all six with the cheap ones, which is what is causing the problem.

The funniest thing about all of this debate is that Poscap is actually more expensive than MLCC.1 for 1 anyway.

truth is at present nobody knows what is causing the issues. It’s an extremely worrying time for all, I don’t think any card is completely safe at present.

may very well cancel after a night to think things over. At least Navi will pile on the pressure

I guess @mjeccs you haven't seen Jayztwocents video on it.. Jayz only talks about it when its dead serious..
Cant fix sketchy components with an update, they went below spec to save money and customers are paying the price

The capacitor placement has been cheaped out to save money .

It is really surprising that the FE is the best card according to this discovery of capacitor choice/placements..
AiB's have really messed us, cheaping out on parts, lack of timelines, price inflations. what else is left?

He has put out a recent update on Twitter stating there's more to it than just the capacitors.

People are jumping to conclusions, they may well turn out to be the primary issue but a lot more testing is required across a range of models.
