It is. Would you expect the non-OC to be different from both the TUF line and the Strix OC?That's the ASUS Strix OC .

Yeah, same here.I think all ASUS will be the same.
The TUF one is the same.
Well I made the mistake of selling my 1080TI a few weeks back hoping id bag myself 3080 ! LMAO well I've come to the conclusion now I'm not getting one until next year ! so I've gone back on Ebay and ordered myself another 1080TI HA.
As already said, the initial product images are old. Strix also has 6 like TUF...
I'm hanging on to my Titan X pascal water cooled...
We've been through to much together![]()
Enough theory for EVGA to confirm they changed their design last minute.Lots of people discussing something they dont understand based of opinions from a YouTuber who has a vague understanding from reading a page from a very knowledgable guy who is reporting on stuff from people who know what they are doing
Power smoothing is a complicated are form. It’s all theory atm stop panicking.
As I mentioned earlier ,and is now confirmed by OC staff, the order number which is used to calculate queue position is based on processed payment not order time ,making it completly invalid even for rough estimate.Until we get an official one we are all in the dark.
Which October though?
Are you sure they have gone to 2 of them??Looks like MSI Also changed to using 2 MLC and 4 SP-Cap.
FYI these are not POSCAP no 3080 or 3090 uses them. POSCAP is a specific Panasonic line. These are SP-Cap go check out Bilzoid Actually Overclocking YouTube channel. He talks about these and corrects information.
Either way latest images I'm seeing of MSI cards is they have gone from 1 to 2 MLC now.

Im confused now haha.... I’m pretty sure OCUK staff have said it’s based on when the order was placed I.e. the time given on your order confirmation email (not when the email was sent/received). Otherwise it’s basically random as to when the system caught up with which payment method faster (maybe amazon pay is quicker than Braintree etc). So if your order had gone through at 14:02 but the payment confirmation email only came at 18:15, your queue position is based on 14:02 not when the payment confirmation email got sent. Can somebody clarify or confirm?I just checked my browser history to see what time I reached the finish page on my order and it's exactly the same as the time I've got on my confirmation email to the second, so seems like the time on the email is much more telling than the number itself.

They have all been suspiciously quiet. Maybe this is the reason. Hopefully we get some answers soon, as I'm on the fence on just pulling the plug and waiting to see how October pans out.I wouldn't depend on marketing shots and early review samples for this sort of detail re the caps.
Difficult as it is, we have to wait to see what the manufacturers say about the cards they are actually shipping, in the way that EVGA has explained their position or what the people who have received a card have in their hands...
