He's not brown-nosing, he's keeping a level head about a LUXURY product that everyone is pining for during a global pandemic.

More people need to take a step back a reassess their perspective.

I do wish there was more communication for you guys who have ordered from OcUK but a lot of people aren't considering the fact they may simply not have any info for you.

When I read that I just saw that meme with the two girls crying at the cat. You are the two girls.

we received an update on Thursday. Technically we have had ONE working day so far with no update. ONE. Stop being a big baby.
 
A boat can be filled and sailing before golden week (takes 25-35 days), and yep, it can come in during golden week too. it's middle to end of Oct that should be the issue once that lack of production actually smashes the supply chain.

It does amuse me that OCUK claims to be a big player, but I doubt that. S*** is probably one of the largest dedicated PC component retailer in the UK. If OCUK were as large as they claim, then their receipt of small amounts of deliveries doesn't quite figure. Plus, consider this. Were OCUK to actually be able to fulfil all those orders in the next few weeks, they would need enormous warehousing and logistics to accomplish that. The feel I got from @Zeed video of the storefront, suggests to me, that OCUK are base on some retail estate with warehousing behind the store front and probably not that much of it. I could be wrong.

For what it's worth. I cancelled using the form a few days after I placed my order for a MSI Ventus 3080, ordered around 5.30pm by card. The unofficial queue had me at 440 or something like that a while ago. Haven't received any confirmation of a refund, or any information at all and no funds refunded. Am I correct in saying that OCUK said they had completed all the refunds, or have I misread that.

Storefront is small back is MASSIVE thats why we have had few car meets there after opening plenty of space to be naughty :D Ill grab whole size when we get another chance after corvid ect.

it'll prob be fine, I've ran all my cards from my RMX850 daisy single cable and not had any issues, but the power draw on these cards is higher so people are educatamaguessing that it'll be better to have 2 single cables rather than daisy

Its not a guess.

Most psu's use 8awg wiring as its cheaper.
8awg is rated for 24amps for power distribution

300w over 1 cable is 25 amps

If they were to use the 6awg it would be fine as that is rated for 37 amps
 
I pop in every now and then to see how the stock situation is and it makes me laugh so much. People are acting like OCUK are holding out on them. What do you expect them to say?

"Oh sorry lads we didn't see the cards on the top shelf shortage is over."

Nvidia rushed this to market, people didn't have enough time to build stock, the hype train ploughed through the internet and now lots of people are disappointed.

You are free to vote with your wallet, stay in the queue or walk away no one will have stock for a good while. Ocuk do not have to provide you a position in the queue.

Yes its ****** that so many orders were taken on so little stock but hey welcome to capitalism in 2020.

I just don't understand the mindset of some people actually saying what OCUK is doing is ok....I paid money for a product from OCUK, I don't have to be contacting EVGA themselves to be actually get news for something I ORDERED AT OCUK.

High end PSUs run Single rail for 12v anyway.

Yes you did, and when they have an update they will tell you. Every retailer is in the same position...this is not a position unique to OCuk. Don't like it get a refund.
