But the queue should be set up per card type not overall cards sold. For instance Gibbo said 30 msi gaming cards are to arrive today. Msi gaming 479 sold according to queue. The first 30 who purchased THAT card should be receiving them. I'm not in that queue. I ordered MSI ventus. So I don't move up the queue. Whoever made that unofficial queue, can you have it tell queue position according to what card you choose on the second question?
 
Think I need to stop reading this forum thread,
It's quite sad when I'm dreaming about gfx cards,
Dreamt I swapped my card after seeing in here yesterday people were doing that only to receive a faulty model,
I'm 36 for got sake ha ha

That is how it works? It only takes the total number of orders to give a rough idea of how many of each card have sold. It wouldn't be any use if it was just the people that filled out the form...To my knowledge it doesn't move the queue when people receive orders, but could be completely wrong.

Ultimately, it's only there to give you a ballpark. And like I said earlier in the thread, it doesn't really help with an ETA, since there's no ETA on stock...you could be 20th in the queue and 20 cards never come in...

It doesn't take cancellations into consideration - how could it, there's no way to submit that data and it's unofficial.

I mean, it's not accurate anyway, but fwiw we've heard people say that CS told them that the actual queue is only based on initial order time, too.

That's what it does.
It's just estimating queue position for the card you specified. Presumably it's doing this based on the number of registered purchases and estimating how many unregistered purchases there might be.

tbh I wouldn't read that much into it other than a ballpark of where you might be comparative to others.

Fingers crossed I'll be one of the lucky ones to get mine tomorrow!

At this point I'd say the unofficial calculators forecasts are going to be fairly broad with the increasing amount of variables, cancellations, swapping cards, non GPU sales.
It needs more up to date data, which you're not going to get without OC.

Still amazing that people who got in at that sort of time still dont have their card, I thought I did well at 14 33 lol

The site for me was completely inoperable until 15:25. I had a few shots just before 3 but the payment fails at the last hurdle. Maybe next time they will keep intentional orders shut and have CAPTCHA up to date.

I thought that too a while back.. I spoke to a guy who got in at 14.03 and said his was dispatched (didn't hear from him again with a photo/proof) Another at 14.04 says he didn't and is waiting like us..

its crazy. One guy on here beat me by like 30 seconds on his order haha. The forum has been useful to speak to those using it properly and not for moaning and bitching - the unofficial queue brought calm early on.

actually still not that confident as a LOT of orders came inin the first 15-30 mins

This may not be true - I payed by paypal and my payment was taken 2 seconds after my order time
