This has kind of been put to bed at this point anyway
new driver has cleared it up which myself and many others predicted it would anyway. so yeah that statement is kinda just confirming the driver has fixed it for them

Spoke to a guy yesterday i was a bit like "soooo urrrr 3080's must be fun for you guys huh?

he sounded totally broken hahahaha

i made it easy for him at any rate was just asking for any new info (not expecting it) and what was going on with the watch dogs codes
(being sent with order at the same time via email)

Same here - rang up to ask about a CPU cooler and started my question with "don't worry, I'm not asking about my 3080 order", which got a slightly hollow laugh. I don't think I could ever go back to working in CS these days. Regardless of how people think everything is being handled, it's not easy for the people fielding questions and trying to provide consistent support.
 
CANCELLATION:
Hi peeps I used the webform on Sat but heard nothing back while another contacted on Sunday and heard back yesterday, I phoned them just now and the gentlemen informed me I was on the cancellation list but he will cancel it now for me. Point is this list might not be in order so if u have not heard back best phone...
did you cancel using the cancellation form? We were instructed not to use webnotes for cancellations
