I wish i had asked them to change my card now, i just cancelled it and re-ordered the card i wanted to change to. I only ordered the first card cause it showed in stock but when i rang the next day they said it was never in stock and was sold out instantly but the page was lagging behind so i just cancelled that card and ordered the one i actually wanted. Ah well ya never know, it might be a blessing in disguise if the ATI card is any good. :)

I know what you're saying, but you ordered a specific product. 3080 is a model of card. You're not queueing for a 3080, you're queueing for an EVGA XC3 3080. I think if what you're saying is the case, this will be the icing on the CF that has been the 3080 launch at OCUK.

I'd give them a call.
I can't remember the specifics on each card and amount purchased however, but the detail on some popular cards had 800 waiting in some cases, and over 1k in others.

This is what drove my decision to look at the GB Vision as there was a small amount in comparison waiting.

Just for clarity there is no queue... there are a massive load of orders for products that are not in stock... as stock comes in it simply goes to the oldest order with one of those items in it.

Not saying that's right, but without a proper queueing system that's always going to be the way it goes.

I think you're right, hence why people are able to switch cards and not lose their "position". Otherwise OCUK would need to issue a new order number if there was a queue system.

THIS IS A JOKE HOW IS THIS FAIR IN ANY REGARD? WTF OC
I’ve been pretty quiet on here, but this is absolutely terrible. I couldn’t get on to order a TUF till 16:53. I managed to get through with a few different cards prior to this but for some reason the TUF page wouldn’t work. I didn’t want the other cards so I decided to wait it out till I could get the TUF through the checkout.
If I had known you could just change card, I would have ordered one of those cards and just changed to the TUF.
No way would I have ever thought that would be allowed without losing your place in the queue.

Agreed, if true this is disgraceful.

Will people towards the end of the queue ever receive their cards, if people are allowed to keep jumping in ahead of them?

Queue, pre order waiting list what ever you want to call it, could they not give us say a top 50 or even 20 list of a total 3080 list or based on model of card.

You know what, I think this is the case, we've been promised an official queuing system for couple weeks now, we were told it would be 2-3 days, then it was end of week, now fast forward 2-3 weeks and this mystery official queue system STILL does not exist. Are we just being diverted with promise after promise.
If this is the case OCUK, and this is how orders are being picked, and even swapped from what we can see from some people, then shame on you.

It's quite sad state of affairs to be honest.

We are still awaiting on this official queue. It's starting to look a lot like all smoke and mirrors right now.

My biggest regret is having sold my 1080ti card and now i dont have the 3080. And no idea when it will come!
I'm in the same boat my friend, same card I sold. Loved it.

This product swapping though really a downer, just when you feel you may make it in a batch or two then gets hauled on out and the ever promise of a queue position that doesn't really mean anything as people can phase shift from one queue to another.

Only good things is there are ONLY SO many people before 15:25 for me.

Just accept the whole thing is just a horrible mess and we can all learn something from it.
1) don't sell your card before a launch.
2) web sites should have better protection. 1 per customer, no bots allowed, no international buyers
3) mister leather jacket, get your stuff in order first before you show your items for sale in a kitchen.

I don't know why everyone is so reticent to not name competitors! It's in the forum rules. So what if I name Scan, ******, Amazon, Box or anyone else. Surely OCUK is not that paranoid. If so, that really is rather pathetic. Posting direct links to competitors maybe, yes, stop that, but having people not even mention the names is rather pathetic.

@ASUS GPU Support Can those of us waiting on cards from you please have an update - I was told the Rog Strix OC was to launch yesterday, and I am waiting on one, but I have yet to see anything anywhere that says that stock of these cards is arriving with anyone (lot of any's there). Anyway :D it would be great if you could let us know something, even anything about when we might see some stock arriving in the uk for distribution. Thanks in advance

Not a problem! Here you go:

Order Number: 5861921
Date ordered: 17/09/2020 15:13:05

Hopefully i was ahead of you so it bumps you up one! You never know i could have been getting the last card in a batch that they get in so it might be yours now!

Brilliant, thanks very much. Amazing that my order number is over 60 higher than yours but only 30 seconds after. That's 2 orders per second.

I don't think there will be a queue system coming, as I think they must have realised by now that most people don't give a monkeys which card they get, they just want a 3080 (yes, I know some people are very fussy). If they put in a queue system then people will post their queue numbers on here and then everyone will rush to pile into the shortest queue.

That said, I don't expect the other online shops to be any different in the way they are operating, I just think they are now dealing with much lower numbers as they shut the doors quite early on to keep the numbers down.

Did anyone here get some notifications about having their TUF OCs shipped today? From the small stock that should've arrive? We know the MSIs went on, but what about the Asus cards?
